Assoc. Prof. ZEYNEP AYDEMİR

Dr.Aydemir received her undergraduate education in 2009 and her master's degree in 2011 at Sakarya University Education Faculty Classroom Teaching Department, and in 2017, she completed her Ph.D. at the Department of Elementary Education in Ataturk Faculty of Education at Marmara University. As a visiting researcher at Harvard University in 2022 within the scope of the TUBİTAK 2219 Postdoctoral Research Scholarship, Dr.Aydemir's main areas of research are reading and writing teaching, Turkish teaching, digital literacy, and new literacy skills, online reading and reading comprehension and reading motivation. Aydemir received an associate professor in the field of Elementary Education (Literacy and Turkish Education) in 2023. She has national and international articles, book chapters, papers, and projects related to her fields of study. She gives courses in the fields of Teaching Reading and Writing in Primary Education, Teaching Turkish at the undergraduate level; at the graduate level, courses in Language and Literacy in Elementary School, New Approaches in Primary Reading and Writing, Issues in Teaching and Teaching Reading and Writing in Primary Education. Dr. Aydemir has theses conducted as an advisor at the graduate level.
