Biography
 Banu Çalış Uslu is an accomplished academic in the field of Industrial Engineering, having earned her BS degree from Sakarya University. Following her undergraduate studies, she gained valuable industry experience as an industrial engineer in the private sector from 2000 to 2005. Dr. Çalış Uslu’s academic journey continued with the completion of her MS in Engineering Management in 2008, followed by the attainment of her PhD in Industrial Engineering in 2015. Subsequently, she pursued a postdoctoral research position at Sheffield Hallam University’s Materials and Engineering Research Institute for a year. Currently, Dr. Çalış Uslu serves as an Assistant Professor in the Industrial Engineering Department at Marmara University, where she conducts research and leads projects focused on the design and optimization of intelligent systems. Her areas of expertise include simulation, queuing theory, multiagent systems, IoT-based systems, and optimization theory.
