Biyografi

Nur Çetinoğlu graduated from the Department of International Relations at Galatasaray University. She received her master’s degree in International Relations from the Université Libre de Bruxelles and completed her PhD on Turkey–US relations in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Marmara University. During her doctoral studies, she was a visiting researcher at LSE IDEAS, London School of Economics, and at the National Security Archives, George Washington University. Her doctoral dissertation was later published under the title Düzen-Adalet İkileminde Türkiye'nin Dış Politikası ve ABD ile İlişkiler (Turkey’s Foreign Policy and Relations with the United States within the Order–Justice Dilemma, Istanbul: DER Yayınları, 2015). Her research interests include U.S. foreign policy, Turkish foreign policy, and Turkey–U.S. relations. Her work has appeared in journals such as the Journal of Transatlantic Studies, Middle East Review of International Affairs, Digest of Middle East Studies, Journal of Conflict Transformation and Security, and The Turkish Yearbook of International Affairs.

Çetinoğlu is also the co-author of two books: Turkey between the United States and Russia: Surfing on the Edge (with Ayşegül Sever and Emre Erşen, Maryland: Lexington Books, 2021), and Soğuk Savaş Sonrasında Türkiye–ABD İlişkilerinde Orta Doğu ve Lider Diplomasisi (The Middle East and Leadership Diplomacy in Turkey–US Relations after the Cold War, with Ali Faik Demir, Istanbul: Yeditepe Yayınevi, 2023). She is additionally an alumna of the 2022 Study of the U.S. Institutes (SUSI) program, organized by the U.S. Department of State and hosted by the University of Delaware
