He was born in 1976 in Osmaniye, Turkey. He completed his undergraduate education in 1998 at Marmara University, Faculty of Technical Education, Department of Metal Education. He obtained his master's and Ph.D. degrees from the Institute of Science at Marmara University, specializing in polymers.
His research focuses on polymeric coatings and polymer matrix composite materials. He has numerous national and international publications in these fields.
He is a member of the "Materials and Materials Forming Committee" within SAHA Istanbul Defence, Aerospace and Space Cluster, and currently serves as the Chair of the "Chemistry and Composites Working Group."
He is also an Honorary Board Member of the Turkish Composites Manufacturers Association and serves on the Advisory Board of the PAGEV (Turkish Plastics Industry Foundation) Research and Development Foundation.
