Prof. Dr. Yoldemir graduated from Robert College in 1987 with high honors. He studied medicine at Istanbul University Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty, English Division, and graduated with high honors. He has completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Aegean University, Izmir.

Dr. Yoldemir completed his microsurgery training at the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Sisli Etfal Research and Training Hospital in 2001.

He completed tutorial courses for Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at East Ridge Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, USA in 2001. He finished his REI-IVF training at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Fertility Unit, Sydney, Australia, in 2002. He was a visiting fellow of Dr. Tom Boogert at the fetal medicine unit of Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Australia, in 2002. Later, he did a REI-IVF clinical observership at Women and Infants Hospital of Rhode Island, USA, in 2002. He completed the course "Strategic Leadership and Management for Reproductive Health Training of Trainers" organized by Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2011.

His fields of interest and expertise are reproductive medicine and surgery, menopause and menstrual disorders, medical and surgical management of endometriosis, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, both laparoscopic and hysteroscopic.

He is a full-time professor at the Medical School and the Health Sciences Institute of Marmara University in Istanbul.

He has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business Administration. He holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Marketing.

He is a member of IMS, EMAS, ESG, ISGE, and IAHR. He is a Board member of the European Society of Gynecology. He is the Co-chair of the Council of Affiliated Menopause Societies (CAMS). He is on the editorial boards of Climacteric, Gynecological Endocrinology, European Gynecology and Obstetrics, Turkish Journal of Surgery, and Gynecological and Reproductive Endocrinology & Metabolism. He has been the associate editor of the journals Climacteric, European Gynecology and Obstetrics, and Gynecological Endocrinology.

He has 102 peer-reviewed publications. He has a Google Scholar h-index of 24. He has presented at numerous national and international conferences as an invited speaker. He authored and co-authored over 25 chapters in Turkish medical textbooks. Eight of these chapters were published in Menopause textbooks.
