Dr. Pınar Deniz received her BA degree in Economics from Marmara University in 2008. She received her MA and PhD degrees in 2010 and 2014, respectively. Since 2014, she was a short-term guest researcher at the University of Guelph, Canada for 1 month each year between 2015-2019. Her peer-reviewed journals include The Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance, Empirical Economics, and EconomiA. Some of her articles have been published in journals such as Economics Letters and Empirical Economics. Her areas of expertise are applied macroeconomics, monetary policy and statistics.
