Assoc. Prof. KAZIM YILDIZ

Dr. Kazım YILDIZ was born in 1985 in Istanbul. He graduated from Tuzla Anatolian Vocational High School in 2003. He completed his undergraduate education in Marmara University Computer-Control Department between 2003-2007. In 2009, he started to work as a research assistant in Marmara University, Technical Education Faculty, Electronic Computer Education Department. In 2010, he completed his Master's Degree in Marmara University Computer-Control Education. In 2014, he completed his PhD in Marmara University, Institute of Science and Technology, Computer Control education. Between 2015 (October) - 2016 (October), He worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Georgia Institute of Technology School of Electrical and Computer Engineering in USA. In 2017, he graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Computer Engineering. Since 2015, he has been working at Marmara University, Faculty of Technology, Department of Computer Engineering. He received the title of Associate Professor in Computer Science and Engineering in 2020. His research interests are AI, deep learning, machine learning and computer vision

He is the co-supervisor of  Marmara University Vision Lab.
