Gül Gülenay Hacıosmanoğlu is a research assistant in Environmental Engineering Department at Marmara University. She received her first B.S. degree in Food Engineering from Middle East Technical University and her second B.S. degree in Environmental Engineering from Marmara University. She completed her M.S. degree in Environmental Technology at Bogaziçi University and her Ph.D. degree in Environmental Engineering at Marmara University. Her research interests focus on environmental organic chemistry, analysis and treatment of emerging contaminants (including endocrine disruptors and pharmaceutically active compounds), adsorption and advanced oxidation processes. In the academic year 2021-2022, she studied as a visiting post-doctoral researcher at the University of Seville, Spain, with the scholarship from TUBITAK.
