Gokce Anik Ilhan is an esteemed Associate
Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and
Infertility specialist at Marmara University School of Medicine in Istanbul,
Turkey. She earned her medical degree from Istanbul University, Faculty of
Medicine in 2003, and completed her residency at Marmara University. A
dedicated member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine since 2014,
Dr. Ilhan has extensive experience in researching disorders related to androgen
excess and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and is dedicated to the management
of PCOS and improving patient outcomes. She has significantly contributed to
advancing knowledge on PCOS and novel biomarkers through numerous high-impact
publications and presentations at prestigious international conferences.
Complementing her prolific research, she has authored critical book chapters in
renowned scientific publications. Dr. Ilhan’s research has been widely
presented at leading international conferences, establishing her as a leading
academic and researcher in her field. Beyond research, she has an extensive
background and passion in not only research and clinical practice but also in
education, actively involved in teaching and mentoring the next generation of
medical professionals.
