Assoc. Prof. FULYA ÇALLIALP

Dr. Fulya Çallıalp, born in Ankara, Turkey in 1979, has a distinguished academic background. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic and Communication Engineering with high honors from Yildiz Technical University in 2001. Subsequently, she pursued her academic journey by obtaining both her Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bogazici University in Istanbul, Turkey, in 2004 and 2011, respectively.

From 2004 to 2007, she contributed her expertise as an employee at TUBITAK National Metrology Institute (UME), specifically in the field of electromagnetic compatibility laboratory. Following this, she served as a teaching and research assistant at Bogazici University from 2007 to 2011. Between 2011 and 2019, Dr. Fulya Çallıalp held the position of an Assistant Professor at Marmara University in Istanbul, Turkey, and in June 2019, she was meritoriously promoted to the rank of Associate Professor. During the period from July 2016 to July 2018, she expanded her academic horizons as a Visiting Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, in Bangkok, Thailand. Fulya Çallıalp's extensive scholarly work focuses on electromagnetic computation and propagation, with a notable publication record of 19 journal papers and one book chapter. She actively contributes to academic discussions, chairing conference sessions, collaborating on research projects, and presenting her work at numerous regional, national, and international conferences. Her expertise has earned her invitations to deliver talks in Thailand, and as an IEEE member since 2002, she continues to dedicate herself to the field of electrical engineering and the global scientific community. Dr. Fulya Çallıalp established Flytelligence Technology Solutions Inc. in 2022, and she continues to drive research and development efforts to connect her expertise with the industry.
