Engin Masazade received his B.S. degree from the Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering, Istanbul Technical University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 2003, and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Electronics Engineering, Sabanci University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 2006 and 2010, respectively. Between 2008 and 2012, he worked as a Pre/Post-Doctoral Research Associate in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Syracuse University, NY, USA under the supervision of Prof. Pramod K. Varshney. Then, between 2012 and 2019, he was working with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Yeditepe University, Istanbul, Turkey. He is currently an Associate Professor working with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Marmara University, Istanbul, Turkey.
His research interests include distributed detection, localization, and tracking for wireless sensor networks, and dynamic resource management in sensor/communication networks. In 2013, he received the TUBITAK (Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) Career Research Grant.
