Res. Asst. İBRAHİM KABA

Research Assistant İbrahim KABA was born in March 1999 in Istanbul, Türkiye. He completed his primary and secondary education at Şehit Serkan Angay Middle School in the Şile district of Istanbul. In 2017, he graduated with full scholarship and boarding status from Şile Oya-Ali Osman Keçeci Anatolian Teacher Training High School. In the same year, he began his undergraduate studies in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Marmara University and graduated in 2022 as the top-ranking student of his department.

In 2022, he started his master’s studies at the same university and worked for 1.5 years as a research assistant in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Istanbul Health and Technology University. During his master's studies, he worked under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Özge Kerkez Kuyumcu, focusing on hydrogen production, catalyst synthesis and optimization, and photoelectrochemistry.

In 2024, he began his Ph.D. studies in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Marmara University, and since February 2024, he has been working as a research assistant in the Division of Chemical Technologies within the same department.
