Büşra BÜYÜKTANIR, Ph.D., born in Uşak, Türkiye, in 1992, completed her secondary education at Hatay Hüseyin Özbuğday Anatolian High School in 2010. She received her B.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from Kırıkkale University in 2014 and her M.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from Marmara University in 2021.
Between 2019 and 2021, she worked as a Research Assistant in the Department of Software Engineering at Istanbul Altınbaş University. In 2021, she joined the Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Technology, at Marmara University as a Research Assistant, where she continues her academic career. She completed her Ph.D. in Computer Engineering at Marmara University in May 2026.
Her research interests include machine learning, federated learning, and machine unlearning, with a particular focus on privacy-preserving artificial intelligence, federated machine learning architectures, and data and model forgetting in distributed learning environments.
