Researcher and AI Engineer with a PhD in Applied Informatics, specialising in developing scalable AI solutions by leveraging Vision-Language Models, Large Language Models and Retrieval-Augmented Generation for solving complex multimodal problems. Experienced in designing innovative workflows that combine vision and language understanding with downstream tasks. Demonstrated expertise in semantic segmentation and object detection, particularly within geospatial domains. Proven track record in building production-ready inference pipelines and interactive AI tools using cloud infrastructure.
