Özet:Yüksek Lisans tezi olarak hazırlanan bu çalışmanın konusunu, Bingöl İlinin Turizm Potansiyeli ve Değerlendirilebilme olanaklarının araştırılması oluşturmaktadır. Doğal ve beşeri çevreye zarar vermeden yararlanma, ziyaret alanlarının rölyef, su ve biyoçeşitliliği ile kültür değerlerini öğrenme, bunların önemini kavramaya yönelik anlayışlar günümüzde yaygınlaşma eğilimindedir.Dünyadaki bilimsel ve teknolojik gelişmelere paralel iletişimin, ulaşımın ve organizasyonun kolaylaştırması neticesinde insanlar çok uzak yerleri öğrenebilmekte ve o alanları görmek istemektedirler. Özellikle yoğun şehir ve iş yaşamından arta kalan zamanlarını doğayla iç içe geçirmek isteği her geçen gün artmaktadır.Dolayısıyla buna benzer nedenlerle turizm faaliyetleri oldukça hızlı gelişme halindedir. Bu çalışmanın başlıca amacı, Bingöl ilinin turizm potansiyelini ortaya koymak, turizm açısından önemli sahaları belirlemek, kısa ve uzun vadeli gelişme planlarına kaynak oluşturmak,başlıca sorunları tespit etmek ve çeşitli öneriler sunmak,yöre insanına turizm bilincinin aşılanmasına ve sürdürülebilir önemli bir ekonomik kaynak olan turizmin ilin geliştirilmesine olabilecek katkılarına dikkat çekmektir. Bingöl ilinde alternatif turizm potansiyeli bağlamında eko turizm,sağlık turizmi, yayla turizmi, kış turizmi, mağara turizmi, akarsu turizmi (şelaleler), av turizmi, doğa yürüyüşü (trekking), kuş gözlemciliği, sportif olta balıkçılığı, mesire alanları, kamp imkanları, foto-safari ve kültür turizmi konusunda çok sayıda turistik çekicilikler, alanlar ve etkinlikler belirlenmiştir. Söz konusu turistik potansiyel alanları nispeten geniş bir şekilde tanıtılmaya çalışılmış, doğal kaynak değerleri ve turizm açısından sağlayabileceği katkılar görsel (fotoğraf, harita vd)malzeme eşliğinde sunulmuştur. Keza ilde turizmin gelişmesini olumsuz etkileyen birçok faktörler vardır ve bunlarda ayrı bir bölümde kısaca ele alınmıştır. Nitekim güvenlik sorunu, turizm eğitimi konusundaki yetersizlikler, rehber sayısının ve rehberlik faaliyetlerinin yetersizliği, tanıtım yetersizliği, sermaye ve yatırım eksikliği, altyapı ve konaklama tesislerinin yetersizliği ve profesyonel işletmeci yetersizliği başlıca sorunlar olarak belirlenmiş ve özlü bilgiler verilmiştir. Netice itibariyle Bingöl ili doğal ve beşeri turistik kaynaklar açısından önemli bir potansiyel arz etmekte, turistik alt yapıdaki eksikliklerin giderilmesi halinde turizmin il, yöre ve ülke kalkınmasına ve istihdamına önemli katkılar yapacağı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. ABSTRACT The subject of this study, which is prepared as a master's thesis, is the investigation of possibilities of tourism potential and evaluation of Bingöl Province.Benefiting from it without harming the natural and human environment, Learning the rellef, water and biodiversity and cultural values of the places visited and understanding their significance tends to be widespread nowadays. As a result of communication, transportation and organization facilitation parallel to scientific and technological developments in the world, people are able to learn far away places and want to see those areas. Particularly, the desire to spend the remaining time from the busy city and work life in nature is increasing day by day. For this reason, tourism activities are developing very rapidly. The main aim of this study is to show the tourism potential of Bingöl province, to determine important areas for tourism, to provide resources for short and long term development plans, to identify the main problems and to offer various suggestions, to invite local people to the tourism consciousness and to draw attention to the possible contributions to the development of tourism as an important sustainable economic resource. In the context of alternative tourism potential in Bingöl province, a large number of tourist attractions, areas and activities have been identified on ecotourism, health tourism, highland tourism, winter tourism, cave tourism, river tourism (waterfalls), hunting tourism, trekking, bird watching, sports angling, recreation areas, camping facilities photo-safari and cultural tourism. The tourism potential areas have been tried to be introduced in a relatively wide range, and the contributions they can make in terms of natural resource values and tourism are presented in the context of visual (photo, map, etc.) materials. Likewise there are many factors that negatively affect the development of tourism on the province, and these are briefly discussed in a separate section. As a matter of fact, the problems of security, inadequacy of tourism education, inadequacy of guidebooks and guidance activities, inadequacy of promotion, inadequacy of capital and investment, inadequacy of infrastructure and accommodation facilities and lack of professional operators are identified as main problems and concise information is given. As a result, Bingöl province presents an important potential in terms of natural and human tourism resources, and it's been come to fruition that if the deficiencies in the touristic infrastructure are eliminated, tourism will make a significant contribution to the development of the province, region and country and its employment.
