Özet:Ülkemizde “dini eğitimin kapsamlı bir şekilde verildiği okul” denilince akla ilk gelen okul türü İmam Hatip okullarıdır. Bu okulların tercih edilme sebepleri de zaman içinde değişime uğramıştır. Araştırmamızın konusunu İmam Hatip okullarını öğrencilerin neden tercih ettikleri ve bu tercihe etki eden faktörlerin neler olduğu oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmamızda İmam Hatip okullarının tercihine etki eden faktörlerin değişimini ortaya koyulup, bu faktörlerin her birinin etki boyutu önceki yıllarda yapılan araştırmalarla kıyaslanarak açıklanmış bulunulmaktadır. Araştırmamızın teori kısmı üçe ayrılmış ve bu bölümlerde; “İmam Hatip okullarının tarihçesi, tarih sürecince İmam Hatip okullarının tercihine etki eden olumsuzluklar ve bu olumsuzlukların çözüme kavuşma süreçleri ile dünyanın bazı ülkelerinde din eğitimin nasıl olduğu” konuları yer almaktadır. İmam Hatip okullarının tercih sürecine etki eden faktörlerin sosyal analizi bu başlıklar altında daha anlaşılır olmaktadır. Ayrıca dünyadaki bazı ülkelerdeki din eğitimin nasıl olduğu analiz edilerek, ülkemizdeki din eğitimini İmam Hatip okulları ekseninde karşılaştırması yapılmış bulunulmaktadır. Uygulamalı sosyal araştırma bölümünde okullarda uygulama yapılıp, elde edilen veriler SPSS paket programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan faktör analizinde yedi faktör ortaya çıkmıştır. Bunlar; Aile, Sosyal çevrenin yönlendirmesi, Öğretmen, Dini değer ve kuralların öğrenilmesi, Üniversite sınavları hazırlık imkânları ve kariyer, Din hizmetleri eksenli kariyer ve Okulun fiziki ve kültürel ortamı faktörleridir. Bu faktörlerin diğer değişkenlerle karşılaştırması gerçekleştirilerek araştırmanın sosyal analizi yapılmıştır. -------------------- In our country when “the school in which religious education is taught extensively” mentioned, the one that occurs one’s mind in the first place is Imam Hatip Schools. The reasons why these schools are preferred have changed in time. The reason why students prefer Imam Hatip Schools and what affects this preference make up the subject of our research. In our research the change on the factors that affect the preference of Imam Hatip Schools was revealed and the size of the effect of these factors were explained by comparing them with the researches of the previous years . We divided the theoretical part of our research into three sections. The subjects of these sections are the history of İmam Hatip Schools, the negativities that affect the preference of İmam Hatip Schools during the history and the process of these negativities being solved and the way how the religious education in other countries of the world is. The social analysis of the factors that affect the choice process of Imam Hatip Schools becomes more clear under these titles. Also the religious education in some countries of the world was analysed and compared with the religious education in our country within the scope of Imam Hatip Schools. In the applied social research section, practice was made at schools and the collected data was analysed by using SPSS program. Seven factors emerged after the factor analysis. These factors are: Family, social environment influence, teacher, learning about religious values and rules, opportunities in preparation for university exams and career, career focused on religious service and the phsycal and cultural ambiance of the school. The social analysis of the research was made by comparing these factors with other parameters.
