Özet:Ekonomik ve teknolojik gelişmeler neticesinde çağımızda hızlı bir şehirleşme süreci yaşandığı bilinmektedir. Yaşanan bu sürecin geleneksel mahalle yapısına ve toplumsal hayata olan etkilerinin büyük bir önem taşıdığı herkesçe malumdur. Özellikle aile apartmanı olgusunun şehir dokusu üzerindeki çalışmaların yetersizliği bu araştırmanın yapılmasına zemin oluşturmuştur. Bu bağlamda "Şehir Dokusunda Mahalle:İstanbul Esenler'de Aile Apartmanı Olgusunun İncelenmesi" başlıklı bu çalışmada Esenler'deki aile apartmanlarının mahalle olgusunu ve şehir dokusunu nasıl etkilediği araştırılarak şu sorulara cevap bulunmaya çalışılmıştır. • Mahallenin ekonomik ve toplumsal işleyişi nasıldır? • Mahalleler sakinlerine ne tür avantajlar sunmaktadır ve hangi çözümleri üretmektedir? • Mahallenin algısal ve fiziki sınırları nelerdir? • Mahalleyi özel kılan kültür, yaşam biçimi, kişiler, mekânlar nelerdir? • Esenler’de aile apartmanlarının mahalleye olan etkileri nelerdir? • Aile apartmanı algısı ve burada öne çıkan temel ögeler ve unsurlar nelerdir? • Esenler'de aile apartmanında yaşayan bireyler, yaşadığı mekânı nasıl tarif ediyor, aile apartmanı olgusu hakkında ne düşünüyor? • Esenler'de aile apartmanının mahalle için önemi nedir? • Literatürde bahsedilen mahalle ile Esenler örneğindeki mahalle tanımı birbirini tutuyor mu? • Aile apartmanı olgusunun avantajları ve dezavantajları nelerdir? • Aile apartmanlarının mahalleye ve şehir dokusuna etkileri nelerdir? Bu sorulara cevap aramak için yapılan çalışma iki bölümden oluşmaktadır: Birinci bölümde kentsel olgu, şehirleşme, mahalle kavramı, aile kavramı ve apartman olgusunun; tanımı, özellikleri, unsurları ve işleyişi incelenmiştir. İkinci bölümde ise İstanbul Esenler'de yer alan Yavuz Selim, Mimar Sinan ve Namık Kemal mahallelerinde aile apartmanı olgusunun detaylı incelemesi yapılarak mahalle dokusunda aile apartmanı olgusunun resmi çizilecektir. Araştırma nitel araştırma yöntemleri ile gerçekleştirilecektir. Bu anlamda önce yerli ve yabancı literatür taraması yapılmış olup, konuyla ilgili kavramlar açıklanmaya çalışılmış, devamında ise yarı yapılandırılmış mülakat soruları hazırlanarak, gözlem, derinlemesine görüşme tekniği gerçekleştirilerek saha verileri elde edilmiştir. -------------------- As a result of economic and technological developments, it is known that there is a rapid urbanization process in our age. The impact of this process on traditional neighborhood structure and social life is of great importance. In particular, the lack of studies on the urban texture of the family apartment case was the basis for this research. To answer the following questions, it was investigated with this study, titled “Neighborhood in City Tissue: Investigation of Family Apartment Case in Istanbul Esenler”, by examining how the family apartments in Esenler affected neighborhood phenomenon and city texture. • What is the economic and social functioning of the neighborhood? • What advantages do neighborhoods offer residents and what solutions do they produce? • What are the perceptual and physical boundaries of the neighborhood? • What is the culture, lifestyle, people, places that make the neighborhood special? What are the effects of family apartments in Esenler on the neighborhood? • What is the perception of family apartment and the main elements and elements that stand out here? • How do the individuals living in the family apartment in Esenler describe the place where they live, and what do they think about the family apartment case? • What is the importance of family apartment building in Esenler? • Does the neighborhood of Esenlerand the neighborhood mentioned in the literature match each other? • What are the advantages and disadvantages of the family apartment phenomenon? • What are the effects of family apartments on the neighborhood and city texture? The study consists of two chapters which have been done to search for answers these questions. In the first chapter, urban phenomenon, urbanization, the concept of neighborhood, the concept of family and the concept of apartment; definition, features, elements, and functioning will be examined. In the second chapter, the family apartments in Yavuz Selim, Mimar Sinan and Namık Kemal neighborhoods in Istanbul Esenler will be examined in details and the Picture of the family apartment in the neighborhood will be drawn. The research will be carried out with qualitative research methods. In this sense, first of all, domestic and foreign literature was searched, concepts related to the subject were tried to be explained, and then semi-structured interview questions were prepared, observation and in-depth interview technique were conducted and field data were obtained.
