Özet:

Sağlığa Yönelik Sosyal Sorumluluk Programının Ergenlerin Sağlık Algısı, Özgeci ve Empatik Becerilerine Etkisi Sağlığa Yönelik Sosyal Sorumluluk Programının Ergenlerin Sağlık Algısı, Özgeci ve Empatik Becerilerine Etkisi Bu çalışma; Sağlığa Yönelik Sosyal Sorumluluk (SYSS) Programının ergenlerin sağlık algısı, özgeci ve empatik becerilerine etkisini belirlemek amacıyla ön test – son test kontrol düzenli yarı deneysel bir çalışma olarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma, İstanbul’da bir özel lisede 2014-2015 Eğitim-Öğretim yılında öğrenim gören 120 öğrenci ile yapılmıştır. Çalışmada örneklem seçimine gidilmeyip evrenin tamamına (N=120) ulaşılması hedeflenmiş ve 116 öğrenci ile çalışma tamamlanmıştır. 116 öğrencinin yarısı (n=60) girişim grubunda, diğer yarısı (n=56) kontrol grubunda çalışma başlatılmıştır. 14 hafta süren çalışmanın ilk haftası tüm öğrencilere SYSS programı tanıtımı yapılarak ön test uygulanmıştır. Sonraki 12 hafta boyunca girişim grubuna SYSS programı uygulamaları yapılmıştır. 14. hafta tüm öğrencilere son test uygulanmıştır. Çalışmada kullanılan veri toplama araçları, 26 soruluk Bilgi Toplama Formu, Sağlık Algısı Ölçeği, Empatik Eğilim Ölçeği, Özgecilik Ölçeği’dir. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde tanımlayıcı istatistikler ve veriler normal dağılıma uymadığı için non - parametrik testler kullanılmıştır. Mann Whitney-U, Wilcoxon, Ki kare analizleri kullanılmıştır. Bu çalışmada uygulanan SYSS programı ile girişim grugrubunda; sağlık algısı, sağlığın önemi ve öz farkındalık alt boyutları ile özgecilik, yardım severlik ve sosyal alt boyut puan ortalamaları ve empatik eğilim puan otalamaları artmıştır. Ülkemizde okul hemşiresi liderliğinde uygulanan ilk sosyal sorumluluk çalışması olan bu araştırma okul hemşirelerine rehber olacak etkili bir program örneğidir. Bu sonuçlar doğrultusunda, SYSS programına okul müfredatında yer verilmesi önerilmektedir. Prof. Dr. Kamer Gür; Public Health Department SUMMARY This study was conducted as a pretest-posttest controlled quasi-experimental experimental study in order to determine the effects of "The Social Responsibility for Health" (SYSS) program on health perception, alturistic and empathic skills of the adolescents. The study was carried out with 120 students studying in a private high school in Istanbul during the academic year 2014-2015. The entire population (N=120) was targeted and the study has been completed with 116 students; therefore sampling wasn’t preferred. The study started with half of the 116 students (n = 56) in the control group, and the other half (n = 60) in the intervention group. In the first week of 14-weeks-long study, SYSS program was introduced to all students and the pretest was applied. During the next 12 weeks, SYSS program was applied to the intervention group. In the 14th week, posttest was applied to all students. Data collection tools used in the study are 26-question Information Gathering Form, Perception of Health Scale, Empathic Tendency Scale, Altruism Scale. Descriptive statistics in the evaluation of the data, as the data does not conform to the normal distribution, non-parametric tests were used. Mann Whitney-U, Wilcoxon, Chi square analyses were used. With the SYSS program applied, in the intervention group; health perception, the importance of health, and altruism with self-awareness sub-dimensions, benevolence and its social sub-dimensions, empathic tendency levels were raised. This study, applied as the first social responsibility project under the leadership of a school nurse in our country, is an example of an effective program that will be a guide for school nurses. According to these results, SYSS program is recommended to be given place in school curriculum. Keywords: Scocial responsibility, adolescent, health perception, altruism, empathy
