Özet:Son yıllarda bilgi ve iletişim teknolojilerinde meydana gelen gelişmeler, bilgi üretim süreçlerinde de değişikliğe yol açmıştır. İşletmelerin büyümesi, artan işlem hacimleri verilerinde büyümesine ve işletme için anlamının değişmesine neden olmuştur. Bu noktada, veri işlenme süreci anlam kazanarak bilgi ve bilgeliğe dönüşmüştür. Bilginin stratejik kararlarda belirleyici olması onun elde edilme, saklanma ve üretim süreçlerinin doğru ve hatasız olmasını gerektirmiş ve sürekli denetim kavramını ortaya çıkarmıştır. Bu çalışmanın amacı; bilgi üretim süreçlerinde ve özellikle muhasebe bilgi sistemlerinde ve denetiminde bilgi teknolojilerinden nasıl yararlanıldığı hakkında fikir edinmektir. Öncelikle olarak bilgi sistemleri kavramı ve muhasebe bilgi sistemleri araştırılmış, bilgi teknolojilerinin, bilgi üretim süreci ve denetiminde nasıl kullanıldığından bahsedilmiş ve bilgisayar destekli denetim araçlarından, Lavastorm Analytics Engine (LAE) kullanılarak uygulamalı olarak gösterilmiştir. -------------------- n recent years, developments in information and communication technologies have led to changes in information production processes. The growth of enterprises has led to growth in the data of increasing transaction volumes and change the meaning for the enterprise. At this point, the data processing process has become meaningful and turned into knowledge and wisdom. The fact that information is decisive in strategic decisions necessitates that the acquisition, storage and production processes are accurate and error-free and the concept of continuous control is revealed. The aim of this study; gaining insight into how information technologies are utilized in information production processes and especially in accounting information systems and auditing. Firstly, the concept of information systems and accounting information systems have been researched, how information technologies are used in the process of production and auditing of information systems, and the computer aided audit tools have been demonstrated using Lavastorm Analytics Engine (LAE).
