Mesleki Eğitim ve Öğretim Sisteminin Güçlendirilmesi Projesi Sürecinde Ticaret Meslek Liselerindeki Muhasebe Eğitiminin Meslek Yüksek Okullarındaki Muhasebe Eğitimine Etkileri: İstanbul’da Bir Alan Araştırması Günümüz dünyasında bilim ve teknolojideki hızlı gelişmeler, insan yaşantısını ve toplumsal yapıyı değiştirmekte ve geliştirmektedir. Bu durumdan en fazla o toplumun eğitim sistemleri ve bu sistemler içerisinde önemli bir yere sahip olan meslekî eğitim alanları etkilenmektedir. Ülkemizde mesleki eğitimi geliştirmek amacıyla, 4 Temmuz 2000 tarihinde, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Hükümeti ile Avrupa Birliği arasındaki Türkiye’deki Mesleki Eğitim ve Öğretim Sisteminin Güçlendirilmesi Projesi (MEGEP) anlaşması imzalanmıştır. Ülkemizde ilk kademe olarak muhasebe eğitiminin verildiği okullar ticaret meslek liseleridir. Ticaret meslek liseleri iş hayatına ara eleman niteliğinde muhasebeci yetiştirmek üzere kurulan ve bu alanda eğitim veren üniversitelere öğrenci hazırlayan kurumlardır. Bu çalışma ile ticaret meslek liselerindeki muhasebe eğitimi incelenerek sorunları ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Yapılan alan araştırması ile de İstanbul’daki ticaret meslek liselerinde verilen muhasebe eğitiminin meslek yüksekokullarındaki muhasebe eğitimine olan etkileri araştırılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda ticaret meslek liselerinde önemli sorunlar olmasına rağmen, verilen eğitimin meslek yüksekokullarına yeterli alt yapı oluşturduğu yönünde ortaya çıkmıştır. ABSTRACT In the process of Strengthening the Vocational Education and Training System project, the effects of accounting education in commerce high schools on vocational high schools: A field study in İstanbul In today’s world, rapid developments in science and technology change life style of people and social structure.. This situation mostly affects the vocational training fields which is an important part of the education systems.. In order to improve the vocational training in our country, as of 04.07.2000, an agreement on Strengthening the Vocational Education and Training System signed between the European Comission and the Government of Turkey. In Turkey, the schools, where accounting education is presented initially, are commerce high schools. Commerce high schools are instutions, which train middle-qualified staff for business market and which prepare students for universities that provide education in this area. With this study, the problems in accounting education of commerce high schools were searched. Besides this, through a field study in İstanbul commerce high schools, the effects of accounting education in commerce high schools on vocational high schools have been analysed. Although, there apperars some problems in terms of accounting education of commerce high schools, it is conclued that this education forms a basement for vocational high schools.
