Özet:LİSELERDE DİSİPLİN CEZASINA KONU OLAN DAVRANIŞLARIN DEĞERLER PERSPEKTİFİNDEN İNCELENMESİ: ÜSKÜDAR ÖRNEĞİ / 1980-2010 Arife Gümüş Günümüzde ileri teknoloji ürünlerinin yaygın bir şekilde kullanılmaya başlanması, sosyal değerlerde hızlı ve ani değişmelerin yaşanmasına neden olmuştur. Küresel değerlerin akışını kolaylaştıran bu durum, toplumlarda yerel değerlerin zayıflamasına ve küresel değerler ile çatışmasına neden olmuştur. Değişimin hedef kitlesi ve uygulayıcıları olan genç nesil üzerinde toplumlarda meydana gelen bu değer değişimlerinin etkisi daha fazla görülmektedir. Özellikle de lise dönemi ergenlik çağının da etkisi ile değerlerin kazandırılmasında ve değişen topluma ayak uydurmada en kritik dönem olmaktadır. Liselerde disiplin cezasına konu olan davranışların zaman, okul türü, cinsiyet ve sınıf değişkenlerine göre ne tür değişmeler geçirdiğini ve bu değişikliklerin değerler açısından nereye tekabül ettiğini inceleyen bu çalışmada, disiplin arşivine yansıyan davranışlardan hareketle, lise gençliğinin değer tutumları ele alınmıştır. Tezin iskeletini oluşturan doküman incelemesinde, okulların disiplin kurulu karar defterlerinden hareketle 1980-2010 yılları arasında disiplin cezasına konu olan davranışlar incelenmiştir. Disiplin kurulu karar defterlerine yansımayan davranışların neler olduğunu tespit etmek için de disiplin kuruluna başkanlık eden müdür başyardımcıları, disiplin işleyişinde önemli rol üstlenen rehberlik servisleri ve ders içeriği itibariyle okulların disiplin gidişatına etkisi olduğu düşünülen DKAB öğretmenleri ile derinlemesine görüşmeler yapılmıştır. İstanbul’un Üsküdar ilçesinde 5 lisede gerçekleştirilen araştırma sonucunda disiplin arşivine yansıyan ceza gerektirecek davranışlarda zaman içerisinde değişmelerin olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu değişmeler öğrenci-öğretmen, öğrenci-idare, öğretmen-veli ilişkisinde açıkça görülürken, öğrencilerin kullandıkları dilde ve davranışlarda da kendini göstermiştir. Araştırma sonucunda ortaya çıkan bu durumun öğrencilerde görülen değer değişmeleri ile alakalı olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu noktada okullarda uygulanan değerler eğitiminin önplana çıkartılması ve toplumun her kesimi tarafından desteklenmesi gerektiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. ABSTRACT THE ANALYSIS OF BEHAVIORS ARE SUBJECTED TO DISCIPLINARY PUNISHMENT IN HIGH SCHOOLS FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF VALUES: ÜSKÜDAR CASE / 1980-2010 Arife Gümüş Today, widely usage of high technology products caused rapid and sudden changes in social values. While this situation facilitates the flow of global values, it causes weakening of local values and conflict of local values with global values. The effect of those value changes is more seen on the target group and practitioner of the changes which is young generation. Especially high school period with the effect of adolescence is the most critical period in acquiring values and adaptation to changing society.This work deals with the value manners of high school youth starting from the behaviours that are reflected in the discipline archives. The work analyzes how the attitudes which are subjected to the disciplinary punishment in high schools change according to time, school type, gender and class variables and where these changes corresponds to from the point of values.The document review that forms the backbone of the thesis covers the records of behaviours subjected to the disciplinary punishment in minute book of the discipline committee of the schools between 1980-2010. In order to determine the behaviours that are not appear in the minute book of the discipline committee, interviews were conducted with the deputy directors who moderate the discipline committee, counseling service personnels that take an important role on the course of discipline and the teachers of Religion and Ethics who are thought to be effective on discipline progress. In consequence of the research that was made in 5 high schools in Üsküdar county of Istanbul, it is come out that there are changes of the behaviors that are punitial and reflected to the discipline archive over time. While these changes are seen clearly in the relationships between student-teacher, student-executive, teacher-custodian; changes also reveal themselves in the behaviors and language the students have used. All these findings and changes appeared after the research and they are related yo the value alterations of students. At this point, it is concluded that the value education applied in the schools should be highlighted and these process should be supported by all sections of the society.
