Özet:Bu çalışmada, terörizmde meydana gelen değişim ve dönüşümler incelenerek “ yeni terörizm dönemi” olarak adlandırılan süreçle ilgili olarak genel bir tablo çizilmiştir. Terörizmin dinamiklerinde meydana gelen değişimleri tetikleyen tarihsel olaylar kronolojik olarak incelenmiş ve analiz edilmiştir. Soğuk Savaş sonrası süreç ve 11 Eylül olayları yeni terörizm döneminin resmi başlangıcı olarak kabul edilmektedir. Bu süreçte yaşanan değişimlerin somut bir örneği olarak tüm dünyayı tehdit eden DEAŞ terör örgütü örneklem olarak seçilmiştir. DEAŞ’ ı diğer terör örgütlerinden ayıran, yeni terörizm dönemi içerisine almamıza sebep olan farklılıklar incelenmiştir. Çalışmada terörizm kavramında meydana gelen değişimleri tetikleyen olaylar incelenmiştir. Terörizmde meydana gelen yapısal değişimlerin DEAŞ’ ın oluşum ve gelişim sürecine olan etkileri değerlendirilmiştir. DEAŞ’ ı diğer örgütlerden ayıran ve “yeni terörizm dönemi” içerisine almamıza sebep olan farklılıklar analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmanın birinci bölümünde araştırmanın konusu, amacı ve kapsamı hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Araştırmanın yöntem ve sınırlılıklarından bahsedilmiştir. Çalışmanın ikinci bölümünde terör ve terörizm kavramları hakkında bir literatür taraması yapılmıştır. Terörizmin tarihsel gelişimi ve dönemsel ayrımları Rapoport’un dört dalga modeli ile incelenmiş ve çalışmada kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın üçüncü bölümünde terörizmde meydana gelen değişimleri tetikleyen olaylara yer verilmiştir. Soğuk Savaş sonrası süreç, 11 Eylül olayları, küreselleşme ve radikalleşme kavramlarından bahsedilmiştir. Yeni terörizm dönemi meydana gelen yapısal değişiklikler incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın dördüncü bölümünde ise DEAŞ terör örgütünün ortaya çıkışı ve gelişimi ile ilgili kısa bir değerlendirme yapılmıştır. Örgüt yapısı, eylem türleri, terörist profilleri ve gelir kaynakları incelenmiştir. DEAŞ terör örgütünü yeni terörizm dönemi içerisinde değerlendirmemize sebep olan farklılıklar ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, DEAŞ terör örgütü sahip olduğu özellikler ile yeni terörizm dönemini anlamayı kolaylaştırıcı bir örneklem olduğu görülmüştür. Nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılarak ikincil kaynaklar taranmıştır. DEAŞ terör örgütü üzerine çok fazla çalışma olmadığı için bu çalışmanın literatüre katkı sağlayacağını ummaktayım. -------------------- In this study, the changes and transformations in terrorism have examined and a general picture has drawn about the process called as a “new terrorism period”. Historical events which changes in the dynamics of terrorism have been examined and analyzed chronologically. The post-Cold War process and the events of 9/11 are regarded as the official beginning of the new period of terrorism. DAESH terrorist organization which threatening the whole world was chosen as the sample as a concrete example of the changes that took place in this process. Differences separating DAESH from other terrorist organizations and causing its to be included in the new era of terrorism have examined. In this study, the events that triggered the changes in the concept of terrorism have examined. The effects of structural changes in terrorism have evaluate on the formation and development process of DAESH. Differences separating DAESH from other organizations and causing its to be included in the “new period of terrorism" have analyzed. In the first part of the study, information have given the subject, aim and scope of the research. Methods and limitations of the study have mentioned. In the second part of the study, a literature review was made about the concepts of terror and terrorism. The historical development of terrorism and its periodical distinctions have been examined by Rapoport's four-wave model. In the third part of the study, the events that affect the changes in terrorism have given. Post-Cold War period, 9/11 events, globalization and radicalization concepts have mentioned. The structural changes in the new period of terrorism have examined. In the fourth part of the study, a short consideration has made about the emergence and development of the DAESH terrorist organization. Organizational structure, types of actions, terrorist profiles and sources of income were examined. Differences that have led its to consideration the DAESH terrorist organization in the new period of terrorism have been revealed. As a result, it have seen that DAESH terrorist organization is a sample that facilitates understanding of the new period of terrorism. Secondary sources and qualitative research method have used. I hope that this study will contribute to the literature since there are not many studies on the DAESH terrorist organization.
