Özet:

Renk, ışık sayesinde var olur ve duyumsal bir olgudur. Hayatın her alanında karşılaşılan renk; psikolojik, sembolik, toplumsal ve estetik olarak ifade ettikleriyle yaşamı şekillendiren bir özelliğe sahiptir. Zamana, sosyal ve kültürel yapıya göre değişiklik gösterebilen, duyguları yansıtabileceği gibi ruhu da besleyen bir niteliğe sahiptir. Tarih boyunca renge dair çok çeşitli bakış açılarının sunulması, konunun kapsamını ve önemini göstermektedir. Bu önemin ve özelliklerin kavranmasının ancak kapsamlı bir renk eğitimiyle sağlanabileceğini temel alan bu araştırmada amaç; renk eğitiminde sinemadan yararlanarak dikkat çekici bir öğrenme ortamı oluşturmak. Öğrencilere eleştirel bir bakış açısı kazandırmak, öğrencinin analiz yeteneğini kuvvetlendirerek derse katılımını arttırmak, öğrencinin bilgileri karşılaştırmaya yönelterek kendi görüşünü savunmasını sağlamak olarak görülebilir. Araştırma, uzun vadede, estetik arayışını yaşam boyu devam ettiren, sorgulayıcı bakış açısı kazanmış, analiz ve beğeni yönü kuvvetli, entelektüel bireyler yetiştirmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırma kapsamında 1950’lerden sonraki renkli filmler taranmış, konuya uygun filmler seçilerek, resmin estetik elemanlarıyla karşılaştırılmış ve filmdeki renk kullanımı analiz edilmiştir. Aynı zamanda seçilen filmlerin dönemsel farklılıkları gilerek renk uygulamalarına ne gibi katkılar sağlayacağı üzerinde durulmuştur. Sinema kuramları hakkındaki ön araştırmadan sonra renk uygulaması için örnek oluşturabilecek ressamların hayat hikayelerini konu alan filmler seçilmiş, filmin çözümlemesi yapılarak eğitimde ne gibi yararlar sağlayabileceği belirtilmiştir. Nitel araştırma kapsamında yapılan uygulamalar, sinemanın renk eğitiminde kullanılabilirliğine örnek teşkil edebilecek, tamamen uygulayıcının inisiyatifine bırakılmış, öneri niteliği taşımaktadır. Bu araştırmada, konuya açıklık getirebilecek olan kaynakların taranması ve karşılaştırılmasıyla, renk eğitimine yeni bir yaklaşım amaçlanmaktadır. ABSTRACT Color is a sensuous phenomenon that emerges thanks to the light. Colour, which we encounter in all of the realms of life, shapes the life with its psychological, symbolic, societal and aesthetical meanings. Color; which may change according to the time, social or cultural structure; can be effective in reflecting the emotions as well as feeding the soul. Existence of a myriad of perspectives on the color demonstrates the extent and the importance of the subject. This study, which rests on the idea that in-depth understanding of the color can only be possible through an intensive training, puts forward an innovative and catchy education method by benefiting from the cinema. The method aims at creating an interesting educative environment, enhancing the critical look and analysis capabilities and promoting in-class participation of the students as well as developing the ability to defend their standpoints through comparison and reasoning. The research, in the long run, hopes to contribute to raise individuals who have well-rooted perception of aesthetics and ability to develop critical point of view with strong capacities of analysis. For the research, colored movies of the post-1950 period were scanned, those, which are suitable for the subject, were chosen the use of color in the movie is analyzed through comparison with the aesthetical elements of the art of painting. Moreover, the periodic differences of the films were taken into consideration and their possible contributions to the uses of color were assessed. Following a preliminary research on the theories of cinema, the movies on the life stories of the painters were chosen for analysis of the uses of color along with possible contribution to the art education. The analysis, carried through qualitative method, aims at providing examples on the applicability of the art of cinema in art education. The employment of the method is left to the trainer. This research aims at proposing a new method for education of color is which is reached through analyzing and comparing the relevant sources.
