-------------------- In Yemen, where civil war has taken place throughout modern history, even the unification of North and South Yemen in 1990 did not ensure the end of internal conflicts. Democratization problems across the country, human rights, tribal irritability, education problems, unemployment, health problems and sectarian differences that mask all of them are the biggest obstacles to end of the long-standing conflicts. Social popular movements to change the power, which began in Tunisia after a university graduate student set himself on fire, and then which took the influence many Middle Eastern countries, led to the beginning of a new process in the region. Yemen, one of the poorest countries in the world, has been affected by the Arab Spring wind due to the above mentioned problems. As a result of interventions by Gulf countries led by one of the regional actors, Saudi Arabia, against the Houthis that is one of the most important actors of Yemen and interventions of Iran supporting Houthi, the country is trapped in a large vortex. In this study, the problems in Yemen, the conflicts triggered by these problems, the effects of the Arab Spring on the short and long term Yemen will be examined.
