Özet:Araştırmamızda Batı Trakya ‘Dedeağaç, Gümülcine ve İskeçe şehir ve köylerinde’ yaşayan Müslüman Türk Toplumunun dini ve sosyal hayatı teorik ve pratik yöntemler kullanılarak incelenmiştir. Araştırmamızın örneği; din olgusunun toplumsal yapı ile karşılıklı etkileşiminin incelendiği bir din sosyolojisi çalışması örneğidir. Bu amaçla hazırlanan ankette; sosyal hayat ile dini yaşayış, inanç, ibadet ve davranışları belirleyici sorulara yer verilmiştir. Araştırmamız giriş bölümü ve üç ana bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde; araştırmanın konusu, amacı ve önemi, kapsam ve sınırlılıkları, yöntemleri ve hipotezleri ile ilgili bilgilere yer verilmiştir. Birinci bölümde; Batı Trakya’nın sosyal yapısına, iklim, bitki örtüsü ve yeryüzü şekillerine, yüzölçümü ve nüfusuna, sosyo-ekonomik durumuna, tarihsel gelişimi ile adı ve konumuna, kültürel yapısına ve araştırma bölgemizin genel özelliklerine yer verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde; ‘Temel Kavramlar’ başlığı altında, din, toplum ve din-toplum ilişkisine yer verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde ise; araştırmanın uygulamalı kısmına yer verilmiştir. Anket formunun analizi ve bu bulgulardan elde edilen sonuçlar yer almaktadır. Bu bağlamda araştırmanın olgusal sonuçları, sosyal hayata dair bulguları, dini hayat ile ilgili bulgularından inanç ve ibadet boyutu, dini bilgi boyutu, dini duygu ve etki boyutu ve çeşitli faktörlere göre dini hayat analiz edilmiş ve sonuçlara yer verilmiştir. Son olarak ise sonuç, kaynakça, uygulamada kullanılan anket formuna ve eklere yer verilmiştir. -------------------- In this study, the religious and social lives of the Western Thrace Turkish Muslim Community living in `the cities and villages of Aleksandroupoli, Komotini and Xanthi` have been analyzed by using theoretical and practical methods. This research is a sample of sociology of religion study, analyzing the mutual interaction between the social structure and religious fact. For this purpose, a survey including questions determining the social and religious life, faith, worship and behavior has been conducted. The research includes an introduction and 3 chapters. The introduction includes the subject, the aim and the importance, the scope and the limitations,the methods and the hypothesis of the study. The first chapter includes the social structure, the climate, the vegetation cover and the land forms, the square measure and population, the socio-economic status, the historical development of Western Thrace and general information including the name and location of our research area. The second chapter with the title `Basic Concepts` includes religion, society and the relation between religion and society. Finally, the third chapter consists of the practical part of the research. It includes the analysis of survey form and the results obtained from the discoveries. In this context, the religious life oriented manners have been analyzed and ranked in compliance with the factual results of the research, the discoveries about the social life, discoveries about the religious life atthe extent of belief and worshiping, the extent of religious knowledge, the extent of religious emotion and effect and several other factors. Lastly, conclusion, references, survey form used in the practice and appendix are also included in the study.
