Özet:Ortaöğretim Kurumlarında Muhasebe Eğitimi ve Karşılaşılan Sorunların İncelenmesi Ortaöğretim kurumlarında muhasebe eğitiminden bahsedildiği zaman ilk akla gelen eğitim kurumu, köklü bir geçmişe sahip olan Ticaret Meslek Liseleridir. Bu çalışmada; ortaöğretim kurumlarındaki muhasebe öğretim programlarının mevcut durumunu incelenmiş, bu eğitimden beklentiler ve karşılaşılan sorunlar ele alınarak sorunlara ilişkin çözüm önerileri getirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Ticaret Meslek Lisesi’nde muhasebe eğitimi veren meslek dersi öğretmenleri ile öğrenim gören son sınıf öğrencilerinin muhasebe eğitiminden beklentilerini, beklentilerinin karşılanma düzeylerini ve eğitim sırasında karşılaştıkları sorunlarını ortaya koyabilmek amacıyla anket hazırlanmıştır. Hazırlanan anketler 2009–2010 öğretim yılında İstanbul il merkezinde bulunan 11 Ticaret Meslek Lisesi’nde görev yapan Muhasebe ve Finansman Alanı öğretmenleri ile Bilgisayarlı Muhasebe Dalında öğrenim gören son sınıf öğrencilerine uygulanmıştır. Cevaplanan anketlerin tamamı analize uygun bulunmuş ve araştırma kapsamında değerlendirilmiştir. SPSS (Compare Means / Independent - Samples T Test) programı ile işlenerek, cevaplara ilişkin frekans, yüzde, standart sapma ve ortalamaları hesaplanarak tabloları oluşturulmuştur. Elde edilen bulgulara dayanılarak öneriler getirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, öğretmenlerin ve öğrencilerin muhasebe eğitiminden beklentilerine yönelik verilen ifadelere çoğunlulukla “kısmen” şeklinde katılımda bulunduğu görülmüştür. Elde edilen bulgular; uygulama gerektiren derslerin sınıflarda yapıldığını, fiziki mekânların yeterliliğinin değişkenlik gösterdiğini, modüler eğitim ile işletmelerde yapılan beceri eğitiminde sıkıntıların olduğunu ortaya koymuştur. Son dönemlerde Ticaret Meslek Liselerine yönelen öğrenci niteliğinde ciddi düşmeler yaşanmaktadır. Tabiî ki bu durum, okuldan piyasaya iş gücü arzında da kalite düşüklüğüne yol açmaktadır. Bu mesleğin ilk kademe eğitiminin verildiği TML’lere alınacak öğrenciler sınava tabi tutulmalıdır. Mesleki eğitim için ayrı üniversite giriş sınav sistemi geliştirilmelidir. Anahtar sözcükler; Muhasebe Eğitimi, Mesleki Eğitim ABSTRACT Accounting Course Training İn The Scondary Education İnstitutions And Examination Of The Encountered Problems Vocational High Schools of Commerce which are long established educational organizations come to mind first and foremost when discussing training in accounting in post secondary education. The current state of accounting syllabuses in post secondary education foundations are examined in this study to provide possible ways to solve the problems through handling expectations from the training in education and the related situations. A survey was drawn up to state the expectations of the teachers and the senior class students to show the extent in which these expectations were fulfilled and the difficulties they were faced with during training in accounting. In the 2009-2010 academic year, the survey was applied for Accounting and Finance teachers and students studying Computerized Accounting in 11 Vocational High Schools of Commerce in the center of Istanbul. All the filled out surveys were considered appropriate for analysis and evaluated within the framework of the research. The charts regarding the frequency, percentage, and the standard deviation. The average of the answers was created through the use of SPSS (Compare Means /Independent –Samples T Test). Then, suggestions were made based on the survey results. The result of the research showed the majority of the answers about the expectations of teachers and students from the training in accounting were marked as unsatisfactory. The research also showed that the lessons which require hands on training held in class resulted in insufficient variability of the physical conditions and the difficulties in the skills training held with modular training. The quality of the students who want to study in the Vocational High Schools of Commerce have been decreasing considerably recently. This causes a corresponding decrease in supplying qualified labor to the market. Thus, the students should be given a test before they enroll in the Vocational High Schools of Commerce and a separate testing tool should be developed for their university entrance.
