Özet:‘’Konsept Otellerde Kurgu Mekan İlişkisi’’ konulu yüksek lisans tezinde otel iç mekan konsept ve kurgusunun yapının bütünü üzerindeki etkisi, kullanıcılar tarafından algılanış ve yaşanış biçimi araştırılmıştır. Dünya ölçeğinde örnekler incelenerek konsept oteller için gelecekte ön görülen gelişmeler analiz edilerek daha sonra yapılabilecek çalışma ve araştırmalara kaynak olması amaçlanmıştır. Tez, giriş ve onu takip eden dört bölümün ardından sonuç bölümü de dahil olmak üzere toplam altı bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde, konunun genel çerçevesinin açıklaması ile yapılan çalışmanın amacı anlatılmıştır. İkinci bölümde, Turizm ve Konaklamanın tarihsel gelişimi, geçmişten günümüze geçirmiş olduğu değişim incelenmiştir. Bu değişimin temel unsuru olarak teknolojik, toplumsal, kültürel gelişmeler gösterilerek örneklendirilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde, Konaklama ve Turizm şekillerinin, sınıflandırılması ve çeşitlerinin genel prensipleri incelenmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde, felsefi ve bilimsel yaklaşımlarla mekan olgusu ve kurgunun tanımı yapılarak, her iki kavramın birbirleri ile olan ilişkisi ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır. Genel anlamda tez içerisinde kullanılan terimlerin açıklamaları yapılarak, dördüncü bölüme ışık tutmak amaçlanmıştır. Beşinci bölümde, günümüzde ve gelecekte turizm eğilimlerinin konaklama yapılarına etkisi incelenerek, yapılan araştırma ve geliştirme raporlarından örnekler verilerek desteklenmiştir. Toplumsal ve teknolojik değişimlerin turizm ve otel iç mekan tasarımına etkisi araştırılmıştır. Bu vizyonu yansıtan örneklerle kurgu mekan ilişkisi incelenmiştir. Altıncı bölümde, sonuç olarak yapılan araştırma ve analizlerin konsept otellerde kurgu ve mekan ilişkisi bağlamında oluşumu irdelenmiştir. ABSTRACT The master thesis “Fiction – Space Relation in Concept Hotels” delved with the impact of interior hotel consept and fiction on the entire structure, the perception and living style of the users. By analyzing world-wide models and future developments of the concept hotels, this research aims to be a source for future studies and researches. The thesis is composed of six chapters including introduction, the following four chapters and conclusion part. In the first chapter, the framework of the subject and aim of the study is explained. In the second chapter, the historical development of tourism and accommodation and its change during past to present days is examined. Technological, cultural and social developments are exemplified as the basic facts of this change. In the third chapter, the main principles of the classification and types of the Accommodation and Tourism is analyzed. In the fourth chapter, the relation between the definition of the phenomenon of space and fiction is analyzed through scientific and philosophic approaches. Generally, the terms used in the thesis are explained to clarify the fourth chapter. In the fifth chapter, the effects of present and future tourism trends on accommodation structure is analyzed and supported by examples from past researches and improvement reports. The effects of social and technological changes on tourism and interior hotel design is researched. Fiction- space relation is observed with the examples reflecting this vision. Lastly, in the sixth chapter, the formation of the researches and the analyzsis are examined through fiction and space relation in concept hotels.
