Özet:Bu araştırmanın amacı, Sosyal Bilgiler dersinde doğrudan verilecek olan değerlerin kazandırılmasında sinema filmlerinin etkililiğinin belirlemek, ortaya çıkan sonuçları ortaya koymaktır. Bu genel amaç doğrultusunda aşağıdaki araştırma sorularına cevap aranmıştır. 1. Sosyal Bilgiler dersinde doğrudan verilecek değerlerin kazandırılmasına yönelik kullanılabilecek filmler nelerdir ve uygulama planları nasıldır? 2. Sosyal Bilgiler dersinde doğrudan verilecek değerlerin öğrencilere kazandırılmasında sinema filmlerinin kullanımının etkisi nasıldır? Bu araştırma nitel bir çalışma olup, eylem araştırması yöntemi özelliği taşımaktadır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, Gaziantep İli’ndeki Nizip İlçe’sinde devlet imam hatip ortaokul 6. sınıfta okuyan 27 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın uygulaması 2017-2018 eğitim-öğretim yılının güz ve bahar dönemlerinde yapılmıştır. Filmler ünitelerin değerleri merkeze alınarak seçilmiştir. Filmler belirlendikten sonra film kontrol listesine göre analiz edilmişlerdir. Uygun olmayan filmler listeden çıkarılmıştır. Sonrasında ünitelerin değerlerinin bulunduğu yerler filmlerde tespit edilerek filmlerin bu yönde analizi yapılmış ve filmlerle uyumlu ders planları hazırlanmıştır. Pilot çalışma için Robinson Ailesi filmi, uygulama çalışması için Yenilmez filmi seçilmiştir. On üç saat ünite içerikleriyle paralel süreç içerisinde film izleme etkinliği yapılmıştır. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak açık uçlu ön algı ve son algı formu, öğretmen günlükleri, çalışma kağıtları, ders ses kayıtları kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler içerik analizi tekniği ile çözümlenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda, uygulaması yapılan filmler öğrencilerde, Sosyal Bilgiler dersinin doğrudan verilecek değerini kazanmasında olumlu değişimler meydana getirmiştir. Öğrencilerin derslere katılımı artmış ve çalışma yapraklarından istenilen veriler elde edilebilmiştir. Değerlerin film materyali üzerinden kazandırılmasına yönelik tüm süreçte öğrencilerin derse katılımları ve veri toplama araçlarının değerlendirme sonuçları göz önüne alındığında öğrencilerin değeri kazanma konusunda başarılı oldukları görülmektedir. Öğrencilerin, film materyali dahil edilerek işlenen ders sürecinde mutlu oldukları, derse aktif katıldıkları, sorulan sorulara cevap vermekte istekli oldukları gözlemlenmiştir. Bu anlamda işlenen derslerde öğrenciler soyut olan değeri daha iyi algılamışlar ve bunu ifadelerine yansıtmışlardır. Öğrenciler sonraki derslerinde tekrar film materyalinin dahil edildiği bir süreç için ısrarlı istekte bulunmuşlardır. Bu araştırmanın materyali olan filmlerin, öğrenciler üzerinde olumlu etkisini göstermektedir. -------------------- The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of the social sciences course in gaining the values to be given directly and to show the results. In response to this general objective, the following research questions were sought. 1. What are the films that can be used for gaining the direct values in the social studies course and how are their implementation plans? 2. What is the effect of the use of films in the acquisition of the values to be given directly to the students in the Social Studies course? This research is a qualitative study and it is an action research method. The study group consisted of 27 students studying in the sixth grade in the state imam hatip secondary school in Nizip district of Gaziantep. The application of the research was done in the fall and spring semesters of 2017-2018 academic year. The values of the films units were selected by taking center. After the films were determined, the film was analyzed according to the checklist. Unsuitable films have been removed from the list. After that, the places where the values of the units were determined in the films were analyzed in this direction and the lesson plans were prepared in accordance with the films. The Robinson Family film for the pilot study was selected as the Undefeated film for the application. Film monitoring activities were conducted in parallel with the contents of the unit for thirteen hours. In the study, open-ended pre-perception and final perception form, teacher diaries, working papers, lecture voice recordings were used as data collection tools. The data were analyzed by content analysis technique. In accordance with the findings, the applied films have created positive changes in students' gaining the direct value of the Social Studies course. Students' participation in classes increased and desired data could be obtained from the study sheets. In the whole process of gaining values through film material, it is seen that the students are successful in gaining value when the students' attendance to the course and the results of the evaluation of data collection tools are taken into consideration. It was observed that the students were happy in the course of the course including the film material, were actively involved in the lesson and were willing to answer the questions asked. In this sense, the students perceived the abstract value better and reflected this to their expressions. In their next lesson, the students made a persistent request for a process in which film material was included again. This study shows the positive effect of the films on the students.
