Özet:

Çalışmamızda portföy seçim problemi için Fuzzy Çok Amaçlı Optimizasyon yöntemini kullanarak bir çözüm üretilmiştir. Portföy seçim problemine, Markowitz çözüm modeline benzer fakat fuzzy mantık temelli, portföy seçim problemindeki her iki amaç fonksiyonunu aynı anda kullanmayı sağlayan bir çözümün üretilebileceği gösterilmişitir. This paper presents a solution to portfolio selection problem using fuzzy multi objective goal programming. In this work, a fuzzy logic based solution, which uses both of the objective functions in portfolio selection problem, is presented. This solution resembles to Markowitz's mean variance method. Theoretical background is composed of fuzzy logic and fuzzy mathematics. Our application is based on Markowitz's and Sharpe's works with modern portfolio management. Fundamentals of fuzzy logic and fuzzy mathematics are given in the first section. Definition of lexical uncertainty and the description of this uncertainty by fuzzy sets are considered in detail. "Fuzzy sets" which forms the fundamentals of overall theory is evaluated thoroughly. In the last part of the first section, descriptions of extension principle and fuzzy numbers which composes the basics of fuzzy mathematics are given. Fundamentals of portfolio theory is elaborated in the second section. First, hypothesis and variables of modern portfolio theory are defined. After Markowitz's diversification, optimal portfolio selection is described by using the definition of efficient portfolio. Then, Capital Assets Pricing Model (CAPM) and Arbitrage Pricing Theory (APT) are defined. At the end of this section all forms of Efficient Market Hypothesis are evaluated. Formulation of decision problems with fuzzy methods is described in "fuzzy decision making" section. First fuzzy decision making and Bellman-Zadeh principle are defined. Then, fuzzy linear programming and fuzzy multi objective goal programming are defined. In the last part of this section, formulation of portfolio selection problem by fuzzy sets and the solution to this problem are described. In the application section, portfolio selection is made, among companies included in IMKB-30 index, by using the method described in the third section. Solutions by Markowitz method are also calculated. A comparison is made between solutions of two methods. In the last part, solutions of both methods are examined by test data. As a consequence, solutions calculated by fuzzy multi objective goal programming method for the points with small risk on efficient frontier produced better solutions than Markowitz solutions did.
