Özet:LİSE SON SINIF ÖĞRENCİLERİN DEĞER TERCİHLERİ VE MESLEK TERCİHLERİ ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİ Bu araştırmada lise son sınıf öğrencilerin değer tercihleri ile meslek tercihleri arasındaki ilişki tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Ayrıca öğrencilerin, cinsiyet, eğitim gördükleri lise türü, öğrenim gördükleri alan, ailelerinin gelirini algılama düzeyi, annelerinin eğitim durumu ve babalarının eğitim durumu değişkenlerine göre öğrencilerin değer tercihlerinin farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığı belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırma; Giriş, İlgili Literatür, Yöntem, Bulgular, Sonuç ve Öneriler olmak üzere beş ana bölümden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanın evrenini, 2008–2009 Eğitim Öğretim yılında İstanbul ili Kadıköy ilçesi özel dershanelerinde hazırlık kursu gören öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma sonucunda 274 öğrenciye ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmada demografik değişkenlerin toplanmasına yönelik kişisel bilgi formu, Rokeach değerler ölçeği ve meslek tercihi sıralama formu kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizi için bağımsız grup t testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA), post-hoc Scheffe testi, Post-Hoc Tamhane's T2 testi, non-parametrik Kruskal Wallis-H testi, non parametrik Mann Whitney-U testi kullanılmış olup sonuçların anlamlılığı 0.05, 0.01 ve 0.001 düzeyinde test edilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler bilgisayarda SPSS for Windows ver: 15.0 yardımıyla istatistiksel teknikler kullanılarak çözümlenmiş ve yorumlanmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda lise son öğrencilerin meslek tercihleri ile değer tercihleri arasında anlamlı farklar bulunmuştur. Öğrencilerin meslek tercihlerine göre farklılaşan değer tercihleri dini yaşantı, gerçek aşk, mutluluk, aydın, azimli, bağımsız, hayal gücü kuvvetli, mantıklı, yetenekli değerleridir. Lise son sınıf öğrencilerin değer tercihlerinin cinsiyet, eğitim gördükleri lise türü, öğrenim gördükleri alan, ailelerinin gelirini algılama düzeyi, annelerinin eğitim durumu ve babalarının eğitim durumu değişkenlerine göre farklılaştığı tespit edilmiştir. Anahtar Kelimeler: Değer Kavramı, Meslek Tercihi, Lise Son Sınıf Öğrencileri ABSTRACT THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEN THE VALUE PREFERENCES AND THE VOCATIONAL PREFERENCES AND THE VOCATIONAL PREFERENCES OF LAST YEAR STUDENTS ATTENDİNG HIGH SCHOOLS In this research relationship betwen the value preferences and the vocational preferences of last year students attending high schools has been tried to be determined. In addition, it has been tried to be determined Whether the value preferences of the students change according to variations of sex, of the kind high school, that they attend, the area that they are educated, their perceptions level of families’ income and the educational status of their parents. The research of five main sections: Introduction, related literature, method, findings, conclusion and suggestions. The space of the research is composed of students who attend private courses in Kadıköy, in 2008-2009 Educatonal year. 274 students have been investigated during in this research. In this research personal informations form directed at the collection of demographic variables, Rokeach scala of values and the form enumerating vocational preferences have been utilized. To analyse the data,indepentent Samples t-test, ANOVA, post-hoc Scheffe test, Post-Hoc Tamhane's T2 test, non-parametrik Kruskal Wallis-H test, non parametrik Mann Whitney-U test were used and expressiveness of results was tested through the levels of 0.05, 0.01, 0.001. The data collected were interpreted and analysed by using statistical techniques with the help of – SPSS for windows ver: 15.0. As a result of analysis it was found out that there were mainingful differences betwen the vocational preferences and the value preferences of the last year students. The value preferences changing according to vocational preferences of students are religious life, real love, hapiness,being intellectual, ambitious, independent imaginitave, logical and talented. It has been out that the value preferences of last year students attending high schools changed according to variations of sex, of the kind high school, that they attend, the area that they are educated, their perceptions level of families’ income and the educational status of their parents.
