Özet:Okula uyum sadece öğrencileri değil aynı zamanda öğretmenleri ve velileri ilgilendiren bir süreçtir. Bu süreci başarıyla atlatabilen çocuklar, eğitimin kazanımlarını daha kolay bir şekilde elde edebilmektedirler. Öte yandan okula uyum sürecinde problem yaşayan çocuklar, özgüven eksikliği ve yalnızlık gibi psikolojik problemler yaşayabilmektedir. Bu yüzden okula uyum kavramı arkasında yatan nedenlerin tespit edilmesi önem arz etmektedir. Bu araştırma ile ilkokula başlayan öğrencilerin okula uyum problemleri veli ve öğretmenler açısından incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda öğrencilerin veli ve öğretmenler açısından uyum sorunu yaşadığı alanlar tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu kapsamda öğretmenlere ve velilere yönelik mülakat yapılmıştır. Bu mülakatlar öğrencilerin uyum sorunlarını ortaya çıkarmayı amaçlayan soruları içermektedir. Mülakat sonuçlarına göre, öğrencilerin okula uyumları ailesinin çocuğuna bakış açısı, çocuğuyla zaman geçirmesi ve çocuğunun sorunlarına önem vermesiyle doğru orantılıdır. Diğer bir ifadeyle, çocuğunun sorunlarıyla ilgilenilmesi çocuğun okula uyum problemlerini azaltabilmektedir. Ayrıca, ailenin sosyo ekonomik durumu, eğitim seviyesi, anne babanın ayrı olması gibi durumların da çocuğun okula uyumu üzerinde etkisi olduğu gözlemlenmiştir. Araştırma ile ortaya çıkan sonuçlar veliler, öğretmenler ve bu alanda araştırma yapanlar için bilgiler sunmaktadır. -------------------- Adaptation to the school is a process that concerns not only students but also teachers and parents. Children who are able to successfully overcome this process are able to gain the outcomes of education more easily. On the other hand, children who have problems in school adaptation may experience psychological problems such as lack of confidence and loneliness. Therefore, it is important to identify the reasons behind the concept of adaptation to school. With this research, school adaptation problems of the students who started primary school were examined from the percpectives of parents and teachers. In this context, teachers and parents were interviewed. These interviews include questions aimed at revealing students' adaptation problems. According to the interview results, the adaptation of the students to the school is directly relatedwith the family's perspective and importance on the the problems of the child. In other words, dealing with the child's problems can reduce the child's school adaptation problems. In addition, the socio-economic status of the family, the level of education of the family, and family problems had an effect on the adaptation of the child to the school. The results of the research provide information for parents, teachers and researchers in this field.
