Özet:SANAT EĞİTİMİNDE TOPLUMSAL SORUMLULUK: SOKAKTA SANAT Sanat eğitimi alma imkânı kısıtlı çocuklara “Sokakta Sanat” etkinlikleri yaptırmak yoluyla onları hayata hazırlamak ve yaşam boyu sanata ilgi duymaya yöneltebilmek ve sanatı yaşamın içine dâhil ederek, sanata ulaşamayan, kendilerini ifade etme olanakları bulamayan çocukların, yaratıcılıklarını ortaya çıkarmaları, duygularını ifade etmeleri, hayal güçlerini geliştirebilmeleri için olanak sağlamak amaçlandı. Konuyla ilgili kavram araştırması yapıldı. Kavram araştırmasında sanat eğitiminin tarihçesine, toplumsal boyutuna, kuramlarına, çocuğun gelişimsel özelliklerine değinilerek projenin dayandırılacağı temel esaslar belirlendi. Elde edilen veriler doğrultusunda, niteliksel yöntem kullanılarak proje planlandı. Kayışdağı Mahallesi Muhtarlığı ve Mahallede bulunan sivil toplum kuruluşunun desteğiyle çocuklara ulaşıldı. Sorumlu eğitmenin yanı sıra projeye diğer gönüllü eğitmenler de destek verdi. Açık havada gerçekleştirilen projede kullanılan temel teknikler gözlem, anket ve betimsel yoruma dayandırıldı. Çocukları kaynaştırmak ve canlı bir atmosfer oluşturmak amacıyla müzik, yaratıcı drama ve oyundan yararlanıldı. Projede kullanılan materyaller atık malzemelerden seçildi. Sokakta Sanat Projesi İsanbul’un Ataşehir İlçesi Kayışdağı Mahallesinde gerçekleştirildi. 10-11 Nisan 2010 tarihlerinde gerçekleştirilen projeye, 7-14 yaşlarında toplam 30 çocuk katıldı. Katılan çocuklar arasından 20 çocuk anket sorularını yanıtladı. Faaliyetler fotoğraf ve video aracılığıyla arşivlendi. Gerçekleştirilen pilot projenin sonucunda, özellikle gelir seviyesi düşük bölgelerde, çocuğun yaratıcılığının geliştirilmesi, çocuğun çevreyle olan iletişiminin artırılması, sanatın çocuğun dünyasına dahil edilmesinde faydalı olduğu belirlenmiştir. İlköğretimde uygulanan görsel sanatlar dersine ek olarak, sivil toplum kuruluşlarının da katkılarıyla benzeri alternatif projelerin gerçekleştirilmesi çocuğun sosyal ve sanatsal yönünün gelişmesi açısından önemli bir ihtiyaçtır. Sanat eğitimcileri için, toplumsal sorumluluk bilinciyle oluşmuş projeler geliştirmek açısından, örnek bir çalışma olarak değerlendirilmelidir. Anahtar kelimeler: Sanat Eğitimi, Çocuk, Toplumsal Sorumluluk ABSTRACT SOCİAL RESPONSİBİLİTY İN ART EDUCATİON: THE STREET ART PROJECT The study aimed to carry out "street art" activities with underprivileged children, by doing that to prepare them through life and develop lifelong interest in art. In ‘street art' project, by including the art into life the children who do not have access to art activities, who are unable to express themselves, were encouraged to reveal their emotions and developing their imagination were targeted. Additionally, it is aimed to obtain accurate evaluation skills for children by learning how to make use of all the materials in their environment as well as developing their creativity. Related concepts in literature have been examined. The concept of the literature search consisted of art education in history, the social dimensions in art, models in art education the child's developmental characteristics. In accordance with the found information fundamental principles that the project will be based on was identified. In line with the data obtained, the project was planned using qualitative methods. Kayisdagi Village District and the neighborhood children, with the support of the civil society organizations have been reached. In addition to educators responsible for, the project was supported by other volunteer instructors. The project was carried out open-air and the main techniques used in the project were based on observations, survey method and descriptive comments. Also, for combining the children, to create a lively atmosphere music, creative drama and games were used. Materials used in the project were chosen from waste materials. The Street Art Project was carried out in İstanbul, Kayisdagi neighbourhood. The project was carried out in 10 to 11 April 2010, a total of 30 children, in ages 7-14 attended in the study. Among participants, 20 children answered the survey questions. The activities were archived through photographs and videos. In conclusion with the pilot project carried out, it has been found that particularly in the areas of low income, for improving the creativity of children and improving their communication skills with environment this was a beneficial project. In addition to the visual art module applied in primary and secondary schools, by supports of civil society organizations, it is an important necessity to carry out similar alternative projects. This project ,which was created with the awareness of social responsibility, should be regarded as an exemplary study for art educators. Key words: Arts education, child, social responsibility
