Özet:Son yıllarda Türkiye ekonomisinin karşı karşıya geldiği en önemli sorun dış ticaret açığıdır. Özellikle ekonomik büyüme hızı artıkça dış ticaret açığı da artmaktadır. Bu durumun en önemli nedeni ithalat bağımlılığıdır. Diğer bir ifade ile Türkiye’nin üretim ve ihracatı yüksek oranda ithalata bağımlıdır. Herşeyi ile yurtiçinde üretilebilen bir sektör olan tekstil ve hazır giyim sektöründe bile ithalat bağımlılığı giderek artmaktadır. Bu bağlamda, bu çalışma Türkiye’de tekstil ve hazır giyim sektöründe ithalatın bağımlılığının nedenleri üzerine odaklanmıştır. Sonuç olarak, Türkiye’de tekstil ve hazır giyim sektöründe ithalat bağımlılığının nedenleri şöyle sıralanabilir; Döviz kurunun düşüklüğü, SGK primlerinin yüksekliği, Yurt içi hammadde ve yarı mamul girdi üretiminin yetersizliği, Vergi oranlarının yüksekliği ve Asya ülkelerinin etkisi. Sonuçta, Türkiye tekstil ve hazır giyim sektörü giderek ithalata bağımlı hale gelmektedir. Bu nedenle ithalat bağımlılığının nedenleri ortadan kaldırılmalıdır. Özellikle, yurt içi hammadde ve yarı mamul girdi üretiminin desteklenmelidir ve döviz kuru makul seviyelerde tutulmalıdır. Anahtar Kelimeler : Dış ticaret, İthalat bağımlılığı, Uluslararasılaşma ABSTRACT In recent years the most important problem that Turkish economy have come face to face with foreign trade deficit. Especially when the economic growth rate increases, the foreign trade deficit is also increasing. The most important reason of this situation is the dependency of imports. In other words Turkey's exports and productions have a high dependency ratio on imports. With all the textile and clothing sector is a sector which can be produced domestically, even increasing dependency on imports. In this connection, this study focused on the causes of dependency to imports in the textile and clothing sector in Turkey. As a result, the causes of dependency to imports in the textile and clothing sector in Turkey listed as follows; Low exchange rate, the social security support contribution, Lack of raw materials and semi-finished products into the domestic, high taxes and Impact of the Asian Countries. Last of all, Turkey’s textile and clothing sector is becoming increasingly dependent on imports. Therefore, the causes of dependency to imports must be eliminated. Especially, production of raw materials and semi-finished products into the domestic is supported and level of The exchange rate should be a reasonable levels.
