Özet:

İSTANBUL'UN ANADOLU YAKASI'NDAKİ BAZI BİYOTOP TİPLERİNİN EDAFİK ÖZELLİKLERİNİN KARŞILAŞTIRILMASI “İstanbul'un Anadolu Yakası'ndaki Bazı Biyotop Tiplerinin Edafik Özelliklerinin Karşılaştırılması” adlı bu çalışma, İstanbul'un Anadolu Yakası'nda bulunan önemli biyotopları tespit etmek, bu biyotoplardaki toprak tiplerini belirlemek, fiziksel ve kimyasal yapılarını belirlemek, toprak profili, pH değerleri gibi çeşitli özelliklerini incelemek ve biyotopları birbirleri ile karşılaştırmak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışma, 2012-2013 yılları arasında, yoğun arazi çalışması ağırlıklı olarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araziden toprak örneklerinin toplanmasından sonra, İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi laboratuarlarında analiz edilmiştir. Çalışma sonuçlarına göre, İstanbul'un Anadolu Yakası'nda dağılım gösteren onaltı farklı biyotop tipi tespit edilmiş bulunmaktadır. Bu biyotop tiplerindeki toprakların fiziksel ve kimyasal özelliklerinin farklılık gösterdiği de, yapılan analiz sonuçlarında anlaşılmaktadır. Görülen farklılıklar, anakayacın yapısı, kentleşme, deniz suyundan etkilenme, topraktaki CaCO3 miktarı, bitki ve hayvan atıkları, jeolojik yapı gibi nedenlerden kaynaklandığı tespit edilmiştir. Sonuçta, kentin gelecekte ekolojik temele oturarak, ne yönde bir gelişim göstermesi gerektiği hakkında önerilerde bulunulurken, kentte dağılım gösteren biyotopların nasıl korunması gerektiği hakkında da fikirler ileri sürülmüştür. ABSTRACT COMPARISON OF EDAPHIC PROPERTIES IN DIFFERENT BIOTOPE TYPES FROM ISTANBUL'S ANATOLIAN SIDE “Comparison of edaphic properties in different biotope types from Istanbul's Anatolian Side” is the name of this study that aims to identify the most important types of soil biotope on the Anatolian side of Istanbul, to determine the physical and chemical structure of these soil profiles, to examine their properties such as pH values and to compare the various features of these biotopes among each other. The study was conducted between 2012-2013 and consisted mainly of intensive field work. After the collection of the soil samples, they have been analyzed by the laboratories of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. According to the results of this study, there have been identified sixteen of types biotope spread across Istanbul's Anatolian Side. The results of this analysis show that, there are some differences between these types of biotopes in terms of their physical and chemical structure. The determined differences arise due to: the structure of the main rock, urbanization, effects of the sea water exposure, the amount of CaCO3 in the soil, plant and animal wastes and the geological structure. As a result, concerning the future of the ecological foundation of the city, suggestions and ideas were debated in order to determine in what direction improvements should be made and to set the way for protecting the different types of soil biotopes spread across the city.
