Özet:

“7-12 Yaş Çocuklarda Etkinlik Temelli Görsel Sanatlar Eğitim Programının Sosyal Beceri Düzeylerine Etkisi” konulu bu araştırmada, 7-12 yaş çocukların sosyal becerilerinin görsel sanatlar eğitimi yoluyla geliştirmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu genel amaç çevresinde çalışma grubunun demografik özelliklerine bağlı sosyal beceri düzeylerinde farklılaşma olup olmadığı da incelenmiştir. Tek grup ön test-son test deneysel desen modeline uygun olarak düzenlenen araştırmada aşağıdaki sorulara cevap aranmıştır: 1. 7-12 yaş çocuklarda etkinlik temelli görsel sanatlar eğitim programının sosyal beceri düzeylerine etkisi nedir? 2. Cinsiyet değişkenine göre çocukların sosyal beceri toplam puanlarına ilişkin istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık var mıdır? 3. Anne-baba hayatta olma değişkenine göre çocukların sosyal beceri toplam puanlarına ilişkin istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık var mıdır? 4. Herhangi bir sanat/spor faaliyetlerine katılma değişkenine göre çocukların sosyal beceri toplam puanlarına ilişkin istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık var mıdır? 5. Dominant el kullanımı değişkenine göre çocukların sosyal beceri toplam puanlarına ilişkin istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık var mıdır? Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, T.C İstanbul Valiliğine bağlı, İstanbul ilindeki Üsküdar Hasan Tan Çocuk Yuvası ve Küçükyalı Çocuk Evleri Sitesinde kalan 7-12 yaş aralığındaki 14 çocuk oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma grubunda yer alan çocukların gözetmenleri ön test olarak Gönül Akçamete ve Hasan Avcıoğlu’nun geliştirdiği “Sosyal Becerileri Değerlendirme Ölçeği (7-12 Yaş)” doldurmuştur. Çalışma grubundaki çocuklar, araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen etkinlik temelli görsel sanatlar eğitim programını haftada 2 saat, araştırmacı ile birlikte tamamlamışlardır. Çocukların gözetmenleri 8 hafta süren eğitim programı sonrasında son test olarak SBDÖ tekrar doldurmuştur. Ek olarak çalışma grubundaki çocukların demografik bilgilerini elde etmek adına “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” ile desteklenmiştir. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgular değerlendirilirken, istatistiksel analizler için IBM SPSS Statistics 22.0 programı kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analiz edilmesiyle elde edilen sonuçlarda hipotezlerin tamamı doğrulanmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgular şunlardır: Çalışma grubunun ön test ve son test puanları arasında son test lehine fark görülmüştür (T2>T1). Çalışma grubunun cinsiyet değişkenine göre ön test ve son test puanları arasında son test lehine fark görülmüştür (T2>T1). Çalışma grubunun anne-baba hayatta olma değişkenine göre ön test ve son test puanları arasında son test lehine fark görülmüştür (T2>T1). Çalışma grubunun herhangi bir sanat/spor faaliyetlerine katılma değişkenine göre ön test ve son test puanları arasında son test lehine fark görülmüştür (T2>T1). Çalışma grubunun dominant el kullanımı değişkenine göre ön test ve son test puanları arasında son test lehine fark görülmüştür (T2>T1). -------------------- In this study with the subject of “The Effect of Activity Based Visual Arts Education Program on Social Skills Levels in 7-12 Years Old Children”, it is aimed to develop social skills of 7-12 years old children through visual arts education. In this general purpose, it has been examined whether there is a difference in social skill levels depending on the demographic features of the study group. In the study which was conducted in accordance with the experimental design model, the answer to the following questions was sought: 1. What is the effect of the activity-based visual arts education program on social skills levels in 7-12 years old children? 2. Is there a statistically significant difference regarding the total social skill scores of children according to gender variable? 3. Is there a statistically significant difference regarding the total social skill scores of the children according to the parental survival variable? 4. Is there a statistically significant difference between the total social skill scores of children according to the variable of participation in any art/sports activities? 5. Is there a statistically significant difference between the total social skill scores of children according to the variable of dominant hand use? The study group of the research consists of 14 children between the ages of 7-12 who are staying in Üsküdar Hasan Tan Child Welfare and Küçükyalı Children's Houses Site of Governorship in the province of İstanbul. Observers of the children in the study group completed the “Social Skills Assessment Scale (7-12 years)” developed by Gönül Akçamete and Hasan Avcıoğlu. The study group; They completed the activity based visual arts education program developed by the researcher as 2 hours a week with the researcher. The children's supervisors completed the SSAS as a final test after the 8 week training program. In addition, it was supported with the “Personal Information Form” in order to obtain the demographic information of the children in the study group. IBM SPSS Statistics 22.0 program was used for statistical analysis for the evaluation of findings obtained in the study. In the results obtained by analyzing the data, all hypotheses were confirmed. The findings of the study are as follows: There was a difference between the pretest and posttest scores of the study group in favor of the posttest (T2> T1). According to the gender variable of the study group, there was a difference between the pre-test and post-test scores in favor of the post-test (T2> T1). According to the parental survival variable of the study group, there was a difference between the pre-test and post-test scores in favor of the post-test (T2> T1). According to the participation in any art/sports activities variable of the study group, there was a difference between the pre-test and post-test scores in favor of the post-test (T2> T1). According to the dominant hand use variable of the study group, there was a difference between the pre-test and post-test scores in favor of the post-test (T2> T1).
