Özet:1960’lı yıllara doğru muhalif dozu yükselen avangard sanat hareketleri içinde Situasyonist Enternasyonal, radikal tasarılarıyla dikkat çeken bir harekettir. Sanatın siyasi olasılıklarını araştıran avangard akımlar içerisinde Situasyonistler; sanatsal olduğu kadar politik bir avangard akımdır. Situasyonist Enternasyonal; Gerçeküstücülük, Cobra gibi avangard sanat akımlarından dağılan sanatçıların katılımıyla oluşmuştur. Ve dünyanın değişmesi gerektiğine karar veren; büyük çogunlugunu sanatçıların oluşturduğu üyelerinin desteğiyle, kapitalist sisteme karşi eleştirel teori ve pratik tasarılar geliştirmiştir. Bu araştırmanın konusu; avangard sanat tarihi içerisinde, gerçekleştirdiği total redle diğer akımlardan ayrılan Situasyonist Enternasyonal grubu ve grubun kendinden sonraki sanat hareketlerine etkisidir. Situasyonist fikirlerin 1960 sonrası sanatsal uygulamalara etkisi araştırıldığı kadar, bu fikirlerin kendinden önce ki avangard hareketlerden nasıl etkilendiği de araştırılmıştır. İlk bölümde; Gerçeküstücülük, Cobra, Letrizm ve Letrist Enternasyonal akımlarının Situasyonist Enternasyonal’le bağı araştırılmış, bu akımların birbirleriyle teorik ve pratik ilişkileri ortaya konmuştur. İkinci bölümde, Situasyonist Enternasyonal’in kuruluşuna, temel kavramlarına ve varlığını devam ettirdiği yıllar içerisindeki teorik ve pratik uygulamalarına değinilmiştir. Situasyonist fikirlerin kuramsal ve kılgısal yapısı, modern kapitalist toplum analizleriyle sıkı bir ilişki içinde olduğundan, 1968 Mayıs ayaklanması gibi dönemin siyasi olaylarına ve genel politik atmosferine dair bilgilere de yer verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde Situasyonist fikirlerle ilişkilendirilen 1960 sonrası sanatsal hareketlerden, uygulamalardan ve sanatçılardan örneklere yer verilmiştir. Situasyonist teori ve pratiklerin politik ve görsel kültür içerisindeki kullanımı ve sanatsal uygulamaların situasyonist fikirlerle ne ölçüde örtüştüğü irdelenmiştir. SUMMARY Situationist International, with its radical designs, was a remarkable movement among avant-garde contrary art movements in 1960’s. Situationist, among the avant-garde movements that investigate the political potential of the art, had both an artistic and political attitude. Situationist International was formed with the fusion of several avant-garde artistic tendencies like Surrealism, Cobra. The groups came together intending to change the world, and with the support of its members (most of them were artists), critical theory and practical designs were developed against capitalist system we live in. The subject of this study is Situationist International group that differs from other groups by declaring total objection and the effect of this group on further art movements. The effects of the Situationist ideas on the artistic practices of post-1960 and the effects of the previous avant-garde movements on these ideas were both investigated. In the first section, the relation between Situationist International and Surrealism, Cobra, Lettrism, and Letrist International movements were investigated, and the common theory and the practices of these movements were presented. In the second section, the foundation, basic concepts and the theoretical and the practical practices of the Situationist International were described. In the third section, examples of art movements, artistic practices and artists of post-1960 related to Situationist ideas were presented. The use of Situationist theory and practices in political and visual culture were investigated. And the level of overlap between artistic practices and Situationist ideas were examined.
