Özet:Araştırmada öncelikle resmi ve özel özel eğitim kurumlarında bilgisayar kullanılan ortamlar ile bilgisayar destekli eğitime yönelik donanım ve yazılım imkanlarına bakılmıştır. Farklı engel türlerinde çalışan özel eğitim meslek elemanlarının özel eğitimde bilgisayar destekli eğitime yönelik görüşlerinin tespit edilmesi gereğinden hareketle, bu araştırmada "zihinsel engelli", "işitme engelli", "görme engelli", spastik engelli", "otistik engelli" çocuklarla çalışan özel eğitim meslek elemanlarının görüşleri belirlenmiştir. Özel eğitim meslek elemanlarının özel eğitimde bilgisayar destekli eğitime yönelik görüşleri ile Bilgisayar Tutum Ölçeği'nden almış oldukları puanların engel türüne göre farklılaşma durumu sorgulanmıştır. Ayrıca özel eğitim meslek elemanlarının demografik özelliklerine göre bilgisayar tutumları incelenmiştir. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde frekans ve yüzde hesaplamaları ile tek yönlü varyans analizi, LSD testi ve ilişkisiz grup t-Testi istatistik tekniklerinden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda, özel eğitim kurumlarında yeterli bilgisayar bulunmakla özel eğitimde bilgisayar destekli eğitime yönelik donanım ve yazılım imkanlarının bulunmadığı görülmüştür. Özel eğitimde bilgisayar destekli eğitim uygulamalarının öğrencilerin başarısını artıracağı yönünde, görme, işitme ve spastik engel grubunda çalışan özel eğitim meslek elemanlarının zihinsel ve otistik engel grubundaki özel eğitim meslek elemanlarından daha olumlu görüşe sahip oldukları görülmüştür. Tüm engel gruplarında çalışan özel eğitim meslek elemanlarınca bilgisayar destekli eğitim uygulamalarının özel eğitim hizmetlerine dinamizm getireceği görüşü paylaşılmaktadır. ABSTRACT The rapid development in educational technology provided various alternatives to teach students. The most important fact is the one that computer based education applications which are used for education of the individuals who need special education, are increasing day by day. In Special Education Institutions, classrooms of computer technology are prepared and the software is provided for them by National Education Ministry. At first, environments where computers are used and their opportunities for software and hardware about Computer Assisted Education in public and private special education institutions are investigated in this study. Considering necessity of determining the thoughts of various profession members of special education about "Computer Assisted Education in Special Education", in this study, the thoughts of profession members of special education who work with "mentally handicapped", "auditory handicapped", "visually handicapped", "spastic" and "autistic" children are investigated. The thoughts of profession members of special education about computer assisted education are determined and this study also examined attitutes of these people according to various independent variables such as gender, age, tenure, e.t.c. Data were analyzed with such statistical tecniques as; · Frequency and percentage calculations · One Way Anova Analyze · Independent Groups t-tests · LSD Tests Our study determined that although institutions of special educations have enough number of computer, their hardware and software opportunities are insufficient. According to results, the profession members of special education who work with "auditory handicapped", "visually handicapped" and "spastic handicapped children have more positive opinion about the idea that computer assisted education applications increases students' success, than the members who work with "mentally handicapped" and autistic children. Also all the members have the same idea on the item that computer assisted education applications will develop special education services.
