Özet:

Bu araştırmada öncelikli olarak ilköğretim okullarında 6.sınıf müzik derslerinde verilen mandolin eğitiminin müzik dersi başarısı üzerine etkisi araştırılmıştır. Ayrıca ortaya çıkan bulguların, ailenin gelir düzeyi, anne ile babanın mesleki ve eğitim durumları, öğrenci cinsiyeti değişkenlerine göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığı saptanmıştır. İstanbul’un Taşoluk İlköğretim Okulu 6-A ve 6-B sınıflarından oluşturulan 28’i erkek ve 32’si kız olmak üzere toplam 60 öğrencinin oluşturduğu örneklem grubuna hazırlanmış olan müzik bilgi testi eğitimden önce ve eğitimden sonra uygulanmıştır. Ses eğitimi ile müzik dersi verilen 6-A sınıfı kontrol grubunu, mandolin eğitimi destekli müzik dersi verilen 6-B sınıfı ise deney grubunu oluşturmuştur. Araştırma için gerekli olan müzik dersi eğitimi otuz hafta süreyle uygulanmıştır. Verileri analiz etmek için Bağımlı Grup “t” Testi, Bağımsız Grup “t” Testi ve Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi (Anova) teknikleri kullanılmıştır. Sonuçlar, mandolin eğitimi alan öğrencilerin müzik dersi başarıları, ses eğitimi destekli müzik dersi alan öğrencilerinin başarılarına göre olumlu yönde bir fark olduğunu göstermiştir. Ancak öğrencilerin cinsiyet, ailenin gelir düzeyi, anne ile babanın meslek ve eğitim durumları değişkenleri ile başarı arasındaki ilişki farklılık göstermemektedir. Anahtar Kelime: Okul Çalgıları, Çalgı Eğitimi, Mandolin Eğitimi ABSTRACT In this research, the effect of mandolin education on the success of music lessons in the sixth grade of primary school education is investigated primarily. Besides, it is found out that if these results differ or not according to the variables such as income of the family, occupation and education level of the parents and gender of the students. A music knowledge test was applied to the sample of 60 students from 6-A and 6-B classes of İstanbul Taşoluk Primary School, consisting of 32 female and 28 male students, before and after the education. The class 6-A which had the music lesson with sound education, formed the control group and the class 6-B which had the mandolin education supported music lesson formed the experiment group. The music lesson education necessary for the research was applied for 30 weeks. (t) test for Dependent Groups, t Test for Independent Groups and Analysis of Varience (ANOVA) were used to analyze the data. Results show that students who had mandolin education shows a positive correleation on the success of the music lesson when they are compared with the students who had a sound supported music lesson. However, there is no difference between the success and the gender, family income, the occupation and education levels of the parents.
