Özet:Bu tez çalışmasında, Hazır Giyim de yaygın olarak kullanılan Stapel Polyester, Çekirdek (stapel) Polyester ve Çekirdek Polyester/ Pamuk olmak üzere çeşitli dikiş iplikleri kullanılarak, zincir dikiş ve düz dikiş ile farklı sıklıklarla dikilen dikişlere farklı açılarda mukavemet ve uzama testleri uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin istatistiksel olarak değerlendirilmesi yoluyla varılan sonuçlar karşılaştırılmıştır. Sunulan tez çalışması beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birici bölümde; çalışmanın amacıyla birlikte dikiş mukavemetinin önemi anlatılmıştır. İkinci bölümde; Dikiş işlemi, dikiş makineleri, dikiş iplikleri ve dikiş iğnesi tanımları yapılarak, yapıları ve özellikleri hakkında genel bilgiler verilmiştir. Dikiş hataları, dikiş kalitesi üzerinde durulmuş ve dikiş mukavemetinin hazır giyimdeki önemine değinilmiştir. İkinci bölümde son olarak tez konusu ile ilgili literatür araştırılmıştır . Amaç ve sonuçlarıyla ilgili kısa açıklamalar yapılmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde; araştırmada kullanılan materyaller, makineler ve araştırmada kullanılan test yöntemleri ile standartlar tanıtılmıştır. Araştırmada uygulanan deneysel çalışmalar verilmiştir. Deneysel çalışmaların değerlendirmeleri tablo ve şekiller halinde sunulmuştur. Dördüncü bölümde; mukavemet ve uzama testlerinden varılan sonuçlar verilmiştir. Beşinci bölümde ise; tez çalışması sonucunda elde edilen bulgular ortaya konmuş, tartışılmış ve değerlendirilmiştir. Şubat 2005 Gülşah KAYA ABSTRACT THE EFFECTS OF DIFFERENT SEWING THREAD PROPERTIES AND STITCH CONDENSATIONS ON SEAM RESISTANCE WITH DIFFERENT SEWING ANGLES In this study, seam resistance and expansion tests with different angles have been applied to the stitch types with different condensation and seamed with chain and plain stitch for which widespread sewing threads Spun Poliester, Poliester Corespun and Poliester/Cotton Corespun have been used. The results have been compared by evaluating the datum statistically. The study consists of five chapters.In the first chapter, the aim of the study has been explained with the importance of the seam resistance.The general information about the structures and the qualifications of stitch process, sewing machines and sewing threads have been overviews with the use of their descriptions in the second chapter. The stitch mistakes and stitch quality have been explained and the importance of sema resistance for the ready-made clothing industry has been pointed. The literature concerned with the theme of the study has been ınvestigated and brief explanations about the aim and its results have been listed. In the third chapter, the materials, machinery, test methods and the standardsused for the investigations have been described. The evaluations of the tests during the study process have been presented with the tables and diagrams. The forth chapter includes the results of the tests applied for seam resistance and expansion. In the last chapter, the results of the whole study have been explained and discussed.
