Özet:TÜRK TOPLUMUNDA İMAM İMAJI : İSTANBUL ÖRNEĞİ Araştırmamız dört bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde; dinin mahiyeti, psikolojik ve sosyolojik yönleri, kavramsal ve kuramsal çerçeve içerisinde incelendi. Cami ve imam kavramlarının tarihi süreci ve günümüzdeki mevcut durumu üzerindeki çalışmalar ikinci bölümde yer almaktadır. Üçüncü bölüm; günümüz toplumunda imam imajının ve dini içerikli yayınlarda sergilenen imam modellerini içermektedir. Son bölümde ise; toplumla sürekli iç içe olduğunu düşündüğümüz meslek gruplarından Öğretmen, Doktor ve Polislere, kafalarındaki imam imajını sorduk ve çıkan sonuçların bilimsel bir bakış açısına yardım edeceğini düşündük. Yapılan bu çalışmanın neticesinde; Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı ve imam arkadaşlarımızın, toplumun beklentilerine cevap verebilecek donanımlara sahip olabilmeleri için çaba göstereceklerini umut ediyoruz. SUMMARY THE IMAGE OF IMAM IN TURKISH SOCIETY: İSTANBUL SAMPLE Our research consists of four parts.In the first part;the contents of the religion,psychological and social aspects of the religion were examined in the frame of conceptual and theoretical way.Mosque and the studies about historical process of the concept of ımam and its present situation are in the second part.The third part includes the image of the imam in our present society and the examples of the imam which are shown in religional publication.At the last part;we asked the image of imam in their minds to the teachers,doctors and polices that we assumed that they are very close to society.And we consider that the results would make up a scientific viewpoint.In the conclusion of this research,we hope that the presidency of Religious Affairs works and our imams will make an effort in order to have equipments to answer society's expectations.
