Özet:

21. yüzyıl ekonomisi artan rekabet koşulları, işletmeleri her geçen gün yeni yönetim anlayışlarını aramaya zorlamaktadır. Dr. Tuncay Can' a teşekkürlerimi sunarım. The increasingly competitive economic conditions of the 21st century have forced companies to seek new management methods. Companies wishing to be the first and consistent choice of customers by offering the highest quality goods and services on the market at the most reasonable prices have begun reassing their operations and processes. Having seen considerable added value for both their employees and customers as a result of these improvements in their business operations and processes, companies have found ways to provide faster, more effective and more productive products and services. They have done this by choosing process-oriented business models and by abandoning process steps that do not provide added value. It is at this point that the concept of "Process Managment" has gained widespread acceptance. Companies utilising such processes and seeking new business methods that are process-oriented have created a continues renewal synergy and emphasis on constant improvement by reviewing the performance of the processes through the results thus obtained and the analysis and measurement of these processes. In my thesis I have examined process management, concepts and methodology using the project planning technique of CPM management. I utilised the CPM technique to reach my conclusions on process management. I would like to acknowledge the assistance and direction provided at every step of preparing my thesis by my instructor, Dr. Tuncay Can.
