Özet:TEZ İ Kavram çalışması, tefsir araştırmaları içerisinde önemli yer tutar. Kur’an’da geçen her kelime ve kavramın derinlemesine işlenip bütüncül bir konu halinde işlenmesi, o kavramın daha iyi anlaşılmasına; böylece Kur’ân’daki o konunun da daha iyi anlaşılmasına neden olur. Bereket kelimesi de, bu kavramlardan bir tanesidir. Her ne kadar bu kavram, çeşitli konular içinde sınırlı bir bilgiyle geçiştirilse de, şimdiye kadar bereket kelimesiyle ilgili bütün ayetler toplanılarak bütün yönleriyle ele alınmış değildir. İşte “Kur’an’da Bereket Kavramı” isimli yüksek lisans tezimiz, Kuran-ı Kerimde azımsanmayacak sayıda geçen bu kelimeyi bir konu halinde işlemeyi ve böylece tefsir sahasına katkıda bulunmayı amaçlamıştır. Tezimizde ilk önce bunlar anahatlarıyla ele alındı. Konu anlatımında özellikle Kur’an’da mübarek ve kutsal sayılan canlı ve cansız varlıklar incelenerek, onların bu sıfatı tefsir kaynakları doğrultusunda ayrıntıyla açıklandı. Ardından, Kur’an’da bereket sıfatıyla anılan davranışlar tespit edilerek, yine tefsir eserleri çerçevesinde açıklığa kavuşturuldu. Daha sonra bunun sebep ve sonuçlarına gidilerek konu tamamlandı. Bu çalışmayı bir giriş ve iki bölüm halinde hazırladık. Girişte, İslam’da önemli yere sahip olan bu kavram, Kur’an-ı Kerim ışığında incelenerek, ilk önce kavram hakkında detaylı bilgiler verilerek bütün yönleriyle ortaya konuldu. Yahudilik, Hıristiyanlık ve geçmiş kültürlerde de bu konu, bereket ayinleri ve bereketli varlıklar sürekli ön plana çıkar. Bu hususlar da, Giriş bölümünde Kitab-ı Mukaddes ve Dinler Tarihi kitapları esasında anahatlarıyla açıklanmıştır. Birinci bölümde Kur’an’da bereketli sayılan varlıklar araştırılarak, onlar hakkında evvela ön bilgiler verilip, daha sonra müfessirlerin görüşleri etrafında onların bu sıfatla anılmasının sebep ve sonuçları irdelenmeye çalışıldı. İkinci bölümde, Kur’an’da insanı mutluluğa götürecek ve kurtuluşuna vesile olacak bereketli işler ve bunun aksine, insanı hüsrana götürecek ve maddi-manevî nimetten mahrum bırakacak bereketsiz davranışlar üzerinde genişçe duruldu. Sonuçta bereketin dünyevî ve uhrevî gayesinden de bahsedilerek bölümü bu şekilde neticelendirilmiş oldu. Tezimiz, esasen konunun manevî yönünü daha çok ön plana çıkararak, sebep ve sonuçlarını anlatmaya çalışmıştır. Bununla, okuyucuların konuya karşı duyarlılığını tekrar harekete geçirebilme gayreti amaçlanmıştır. Anahtar Kelimeler: bereket, hayır, ibadet, mukaddes (kutsal), mübarek, sevap. ABSTRACT Terminological studies have a significant place in Qur’anic exegesis. Close examination of a certain term in the Qur’an helps us to achieve better understanding of that term in particular and the whole Qur’an in general. The term “baraka” is one of those terms. Even though there have been some works on the term baraka as part of other concepts of the Qur’an, heretofore there hasn’t been done a specific study on it. Our goal in this project titled “Concept of Baraka in the Qur’an” is to examine concept of baraka, which is seen several times in the Qur’an, with every detail and thus to make a small contribution to the discipline of Qur’anic studies. In our thesis first we dealt with these issues in general. Then we analyzed the living or inanimate objects in the Qur’an, which were ascribed blessed or holy. We tried to examine in detail their attribute of being blessed from the classical sources of Qur’anic exegesis. Next we searched for the concepts related to baraka in the Qur’an, and studied how they were dealt with in the sources of Qur’anic exegesis. We concluded this section by looking into the causes and results of the issue. The structure of our thesis is composed from an introduction and two main chapters. In the introduction, we tried to establish the significance of the concept of baraka under the light of Qur’an and we presented a detailed information about baraka. The concept blessings and being blessed has also come into prominence in other religions. We briefly looked into how this issue was treated in Judaism, Christianity, and other cultures in the Bible and in the sources of the history of religions as well. In the first chapter, we examined the beings considered blessed in the Qur’an. First we presented a general information about them, then we analyzed causes and results of this issue with the help of the views of the Qur’anic exegetes. In the second chapter, we dealt with the blessed actions mentioned in the Qur’an which lead human being to happiness and salvation, and contrary actions which direct to eternal disappointment and both material and spiritual privation from the blessings. In conclusion of this chapter, we talked about the purpose of the material and spiritual blessings. Our project primarily discusses the spiritual side of the concept, and examines the causes and results of it. By this, we aimed to increase the sensitivity of the readers in this topic.
