Özet:Anahtar Kelimeler : Finansal Kriz, Finansal Analiz, Krizlerin Etkileri, Küresel Finansal Kriz, Otomotiv Sektörü, Endüstri İşletmeleri 2008 KÜRESEL FİNANSAL KRİZİNİN ENDÜSTRİ İŞLETMELERİNİN FİNANSAL YAPILARI ÜZERİNE ETKİLERİ VE BİR UYGULAMA ÖRNEĞİ 2008 yılında ABD’de yaşanan finansal kriz, küresel hale dönüşerek makro ve mikro açıdan tüm ekonomik birimleri çeşitli derecelerde etkilemiştir. Bu etkilenmenin derecesi, ülkeden ülkeye, sektörden sektöre ve işletmeden işletmeye değişebilmektedir. Bu çalışma ile 2008 küresel finansal krizinin, makro anlamda Dünya ve Türkiye ekonomisine yansımaları ve ekonominin temel dinamiklerinden olan endüstri işletmelerine etkileri çeşitli kurumlardan elde edilen veriler aracılığı ile araştırılmıştır. Sonrasında İMKB’de işlem gören imalat sanayi sektörü işletmelerinin finansal yapılarına küresel finansal krizinin etkisinin hangi boyutta olduğu finansal analiz yardımıyla incelenmiştir. Bu kapsamda İMKB imalat sanayinde yer alan 8 sektör ve 23 alt sektörden oluşan bir çalışma ile halka açık 145 işletmenin 2005–2011 arası dönemlerini kapsayan finansal tabloları analiz edilerek krizin imalat sanayine etkileri sektörel bazda belirlenmiştir. Bu bağlamda ağırlıklı olarak ihracata yönelik üretim yapan otomotiv, demir-çelik ve tekstil sektörleri krizden en çok etkilenen sektörlerden olmuşlardır. Küresel krizin mikro anlamda etkileri, bu süreçten hızlı ve olumsuz bir biçimde etkilenen otomotiv sektöründen örnek bir işletmenin finansal tabloları üzerine yapılan uygulama çalışması ile tespit edilerek çalışma tamamlanmıştır. Keywords : Financial Crisis, Finacial Analysis, Effects of Financial Crises, The Recent Global Financial Crisis, Automotive Industry, Manufacturing Businesses ABSTRACT THE EFFECTS OF 2008 GLOBAL FINANCIAL CRISIS ON THE FINANCIAL STRUCTURES OF MANUFACTURING BUSINESSES: A CASE STUDY Financial crisis that was occurred in USA in 2008 affected all micro and macroeconomic units in different degrees by expanding into a global level. The degree of this effect can vary between nations, industries and enterprises. In this study, in macro level, reflections of 2008 global financial crisis on world and Turkish economy and effects of the crisis on manufacturing businesses the basic dynamics of economies are studied by data gathered from different institutions. Then the extent of effect of global financial crisis on financial structures of manufacturing industry enterprises traded at Istanbul Stock Exchange is analyzed with the help of financial analyses. In this context effects of the crisis on manufacturing industry are identified by analyzing financial statements of 145 public companies in 8 sectors and 23 sub-sectors of Istanbul Stock Exchange between the years 2005 and 2011. In this context automotive, iron-steel and textile industries whose production is mainly for exportation are deeply affected by the crisis. The study is completed by determining micro level effects of the crisis with a case study of financial statements of a sample business in automotive industry which is rapidly and negatively affected by this process.
