Özet:Bölgesel coğrafi metod ile etüd etmeyi amaçladığımız bu araştırma bir yüksek lisans tezidir. Türkiye'nin gelişmiş yörelerinden biri olan Ergene Havzası ve bu havzanın içinde yer alan Havsa ilçesi bu özelliğini beşeri ve iktisadi faaliyetlerin olumlu etkisiyle kazanmıştır. Ancak, bölgenin doğal ve beşeri nedenlerden kaynaklanan sorunları da mevcuttur. Araştırmamızda bu sorunları da ele alarak, nedenlerini, sonuçlarını ve çözüm yollarını belirlemeye çalıştık. İlçenin daha hızlı ve modern bir gelişim sürecine girmesi ise ancak doğal ve beşeri potansiyel kaynakların en iyi şekilde değerlendirilmesinden geçecek ve dolayısı ile halkın sosyo-ekonomik sorunlarını daha da rahatlatacaktır. Hazırlanan bu tezin mükemmel bir çalışma olduğunu söyleyemeyiz. Ancak, yüksek lisans tezi düzeyinde ilçenin fiziki, beşeri ve iktisadi faaliyetlerinin ele alınması bu etkenlerin birbiri ile olan etkilerini açıklaması bakımından yararlı olacağına inanıyoruz. İlçe etüdü çalışmasının önemi kavratan, bu nedenle de araştırılması gerektiğine dikkat çeken, hocam Prof. Dr. Ali Selçuk BİRİCİK'e, diğer hocalarımdan Prof. Dr. İsmail YALÇINLAR'a, Doç. Dr. Ramazan ÖZEY'e, Doç. Dr. Nuriye GARİPAĞAOĞLU'na, çalışmanın her aşamasında ilmi görüşlerinden faydalandığım tez danışmanı hocam Doç. Havsa country is between 41.3 north-latitude and 29 east-longitude. And it is central place. There are Edirne, Babaeski, Kırklareli and Uzunköprü around of Hv. The height of Havsa is 31 m., between 51 m. from sea. It's area is 556 m2. Havsa is surrounded by Havsa valley and plain in south, Asır valley in north and small hills, Ottoman plain in west. The source of the valley is Istranca months. This valley flows to Saroz gulf. Usually it looks like a straight arena. We can see a few hills from north to south. One of them is Doğruk Hill which is far from central 4-5 km. The land of Havsa is take form by block which belongs period of 3. and 4. Jeologic time. For this reason, Havsa valley has a young. Eacthgualce can be in this place. Because, the land hasn't settled down yet. It seems a plain, Alivyons are carried by the valleys that flow straight from north to south. This cover which landed from Istranca, is red. It's thickness changes from time to time. Our searching arene has a continental climate. North-east wind blows from north in winter. Also **salth-west wind blows from south in summer. In 1935 counting in Central of country, Hasköy. There are 5792 people. Then persons can live for 1 km2. Total population of villages are 4726 persons. We can see, a lot of people live in village this proportion is % 82, Havsa is developign quickly. For this reason population of central Havsa was 7622 persons in 1997 counting. At the same t ime, population of villages were 16543 persons. Acording to counting, population density is 44 persons in 1 km2. Havsa is ordered central fixed in 1954. 17 villages connect to central of Havsa and 5 villages connect to Hasköy corner. Abalar, Azatlı, Bakışlar, Bostanlı, Çukurköy, Kabaağaç, Köseömer, Kulubalık, Kuzucu, Naipyusuf, Necatiye, Oğulpaşa, Osmanlı, Tahal, Taptık, Şerbettar, Yolageldi are connected to central of Havsa. People of Havsa % 80 is farmer. Wheat, corn, barley, sunflower, sugar beet, broom, muslemelon and watermelon are grown in Havsa. Melensof Havsa are farmed in the markef of ist. Havsa is developing on sheephood. There is workshop of white chees in countries and villages of Havsa. Also, Havsa has got excellent sausogeies. However there are very kind of factory which are flour Kartaltepe tekstiles-Mamsan-İstanbul tekstiles machines of pile-in Havsa. A part of people in Havsa work in this factory. Also, a sectron of people in villages work in it. Artrele isn't develeponig in country. In country bazaar is set up on Saturday. This bazaar is in demant from neighborhood villages. There are health home and a central of health for ten beds in Havsa. Also, Health home is present in 16 villages. There are many mide wife in these homes, Health problems are solve by mide wife central of Havsa is present 5 doctors and 4 chemists. There are the buses that are taken away from Havsa to İstanbul. The buses are taken away from Edirne at 15 minutes between 30 minutes. Then, the buses are pass on central of Havsa. Also, every hour, minibus journeis are put in ordr from Havsa to Edirne. There are Minibus journers from Uzunköprü to Keşan. In the last ten years, Havsa has got a lot of industry establishments. Social live in enliven by wedding-engagement, are cumcision. According to general populition % 85 of people are interested in agriculture, % 5 of people are interested in profenrom, % 5 of people are worker, % 2 of people civilservant and another people are interested in another works. Result, the main economy of Havsa is agriculture and stock-breeding in our research arena is livelihood sources are increased by the people. For this reason social problems and physical-geopraphical and cultural problems are solved but Havsa needs some inrestmens and some servious.
