Özet:İlköğretim birinci kademe dördüncü ve beşinci sınıflar Görsel Sanatlar dersinde verilen müze eğitiminin görsel sanatlar kültürü oluşturmasındaki etkilerinin incelendiği bu çalışma, öntest – sontest kontrol gruplu desene uygun olarak yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın çalışma grupları İstanbul Şişli Nilüfer Hatun İlköğretim Okulu 4. sınıflardan bir deney(34) ve bir kontrol(35) ile 5. sınıflardan bir deney(32) ve bir kontrol(30) gruplarından oluşmaktadır. Deney gruplarına Müze Eğitimi programı, kontrol gruplarına ise sınıf içi etkinliklere dayalı içeriğin sunumunun yapıldığı çalışmada veriler “Çoktan Seçmeli Başarı Testi (4. ve 5. sınıflara ayrı ayrı)” ve “Derse Karşı Tutum Ölçeği” kullanılarak toplanmıştır. 4. ve 5. sınıflara araştırmacı tarafından ayrı ayrı hazırlanan “Çoktan Seçmeli Başarı Test”lerinin geçerliliğinde uzman görüşü alınmış ve güvenlik analizleri yapılmıştır. Utku (2008) tarafından geliştirilen güvenlikleri hesaplanan “Derse Karşı Tutum Ölçeği”nin de araştırma kapsamında güvenlik katsayısı hesaplanmıştır (α=0.92). Araştırma kapsamında elde edilen sonuçlar aşağıdaki şekilde lenebilir. Müze Eğitimi kapsamında gerçekleştirilen etkinlikler hem 4. sınıf hem de 5. sınıf düzeyinde öğrencilerin başarılarını artırmıştır. Müze Eğitimi alan grupların başarılarındaki artış almayanlara göre anlamlı düzeyde farklılık göstermektedir. Hem deney gruplarının hem de kontrol gruplarının derse karşı tutumlarında anlamlı düzeyde bir fark oluşmamıştır. Anahtar sözcükler: Müze, müze eğitimi, görsel sanatlar kültürü, sanat eğitimi. ABSTRACT This study in which the effects of museum education given at ,elementary school 4th and 5th grade Visual Arts classes on forming visual arts culture, was applied in accordance with pre-test – final test control group design. The study groups of the research consist of an experiment group (34) and a control group (35) from Nilüfer Hatun Elementary School 4.grade students with an experiment group (32) and a control group from Nilüfer Hatun Elementary School 5.grade students Museum education program was presented to experiment groups and content based on routine classroom activities were presented to control groups. The data were collected by using “Multiple Choice Success Test” (applied separately to 4th and 5th classes ) and “Attitude Towards Lesson Scale” An expert opinion was taken about the validity of “Multiple Choice Success Test” which was prepared separately for 5th and 4th classes by the researcher and reliability analyze was made. The reliability coefficient of “Attitude Towards Lesson Scale” made by Utku (2008) was calculated in the scope of the research and found as (α=0.92). The results acquired through the research can be summarized as follows. The activities prepared through the Museum Education Process have increased the performance of both 4th and 5th grade students. The performance increase in the groups taken the Museum Education is considerably higher than the groups not taken the education. No considerable difference was occurred on the attitudes of neither experiment groups nor the control groups for the “Visual Art Education Class” Keywords : Museum, museum education, visual arts culture, arts education
