Özet:Eğitim sistemimizin tarihsel gelişimine baktığımızda, otistik çocukların eğitimlerinde resim-iş eğitiminin gelişimlerine etkileri konusunda yapılan çalışmalar çok sınırlı sayıda kalmaktadır. Bu çalışma öncelikli olarak otistik bir çocuğun gelişiminde resim-iş eğitiminin etkilerini gün ışığına çıkarmayı hedeflemiştir. Bu araştırmada, elde edilen veriler doğrultusunda otizmin ne olduğuna, otistik çocukları tanıyıp, onların gelişim özelliklerini inceleyerek, ihtiyaçlarını tanımlayıp gelişimini etkileyecek şekilde hazırlanan resim-iş eğitimi etkinliklerinin uygulama alanlarına yer verilmektedir. Bunun yanı sıra Türkiye’de MEB’na bağlı otistik çocuk eğitim merkezlerinde ve özel okullarda uygulanan sanat eğitimi etkinlikleri, bu etkinliklere eğitimlerinde ne kadar yer verildiği, yapılmış ve yapılmakta olan çalışmaları incelenmektedir. Ülkemizde de zihinsel engelli ve otistik çocuk sayısının oldukça fazla olduğu biliniyor. Onların eğitilerek yaşam standartlarının yükseltilebileceğini öngörmek mümkündür, bunun yanı sıra insan gelişimini düşünürsek, normal gelişim seyreden bir çocuk, kendini ifade ederken, sanatı ve estetik değerleri kullanıyorsa, otistik bir çocuğun da aynı özellikleri taşıdığı unutulmamalıdır. Otistik çocuklarla yapılan resim çalışmalarında, renkli malzemelerin ve çeşitli görsel materyallerin kullanımı ile iletişimin kolaylaştırılarak, hedeflenen gelişimin hızlandırıldığı böylelikle kendilerini rahatça ifade edebilecek konuma gelebilecekleri gösterilmektedir. Bu çalışma, özel eğitim ile ilgili yapılan çalışmalara destek vermek, sanat eğitimiyle uğraşan kişilere yardımcı olabilmek, otistik çocuğun eğitilerek bir nebze olsun eğitimleriyle yaşamlarındaki açmazın çözüme kavuşabileceğini ve sanat eğitiminin otistik çocuğun gelişimine katkılarını göstermek amacıyla hazırlanmıştır. Anahtar kelimeler: Resim-İş eğitimi, Otistik Çocuklar, Otizm, Özel Eğitim ABSTRACT THE PLACE AND THE IMPORTANCE OF THE EDUCATION OF ART IN THE PROGRESS OF AUTISTIC CHILDREN When we have a look at the historical development of our national educational system we notice that the studies which are done to analise the effects of the education of art upon the autistic children are very limited.The first aim of this study is to put into light the effects of the education of art upon the state of an autistic child. In this research, the description of the autism ,which is based on the last input data, and the practising fields of the activities of the education of art ,which are prepared considering the development of the autistic children whose progressive features are analysed and whose needs are identified, are put into writing.Also the activities of education of art which are practised at the special autistic educational centers that are depended on the Ministry of Education and at the private schools are observed ,the amount of those activites in the education, and the studies which were and being done are analysed. It is well known that the number of subnormal and autistic children is extremely high in Turkey.It is foreseen that their life standarts can be improved by educating them; if a normal child can express himself by using art and esthetic values it is also a likely process for an austetic child. It can be proved that autistic children can express themselves better by accelarating their expressional improvement using colourful and different visual materials in the drawing practises. This study is prepared to support studies that are related to the special education, to help persons who deal with the education of art, to show that by educating autistic children the life struggle can at least be easier for them and to show the effects of education of art upon the state of autistic children.
