Yetiştirme yurdunda kalan ergenlere verilen çatışma yönetimi programının değerlendirilmesi

Özet:

YETİŞTİRME YURDUNDA KALAN ERGENLERE VERİLEN ÇATIŞMA YÖNETİMİ PROGRAMININ DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ Amaç: Araştırmanın amacı, yetiştirme yurdunda kalan ergenlere verilen çatışma yönetimi eğitiminin, ergenlerin çatışma çözme davranışları üzerine etkinliğini değerlendirmektir. Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışmamız, Aile ve Sosyal Politikalar Bakanlığı’na bağlı, Ankara’daki yetiştirme yurtlarında yaşayan 80 (40 deney, 40 kontrol grubu) ergen ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Deney grubundaki ergenlere 10 hafta boyunca çatışma yönetimi eğitim programı uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada, deney ve kontrol gruplarındaki ergenlerde çatışma yönetimi eğitim programının etkililiğini test etmek için, ön-test, son- test ve izleme testi ölçümlü deneysel yöntem kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın deney ve kontrol gruplarına ait verileri elde etmek için Çatışma Çözme Davranışı Belirleme Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesi için SPSS-15 paket programı ve tek yönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA) kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Uygulanan eğitim programının ardından, deney grubundaki ergenlerin ön test saldırganlık ortalaması, son teste göre anlamlı düzeyde daha yüksektir (p˂0.05). Deney grubundaki ergenlerin son test problem çözme ortalaması ise ön teste göre anlamlı düzeyde daha yüksektir (p˂0.05). Alınan çatışma çözümü eğitimi deney grubundaki ergenlerin saldırganlık puanlarını anlamlı derecede düşürmüş, problem çözme becerisini ise anlamlı derecede yükseltmiştir. Sonuç olarak, yetiştirme yurdunda kalan ergenlerle verilen çatışma yönetimi eğitiminin ergenlere olumlu çatışma çözme stratejileri kazandırdığını ortaya koymuştur. Prof. Dr. Gül ÜNSAL BARLAS Department of Psychiatry Nursing Objective: The purpose of our research is to evaluate the impact of conflict management training delivered to the adolescents in the orphanages on conflict resolution behaviors of the adolescents. Material and Method: Our study was realized with 80 adolescents (40 experimental, 40 control groups) who are living in the orphanages in Ankara which are affiliated to the Ministry of Family and Social Policies. In experimental group, adolescence had been carried out conflict management program for 10 week. In the research, measured experimental methods such as pre-test, post-test and monitoring test were used in order to test the effectiveness of the conflict management training program on the adolescents in both experimental and control groups. In order to obtain data related to the experimental and control groups of the research, A Scale for Identification of Conflict Resolution Behavior were used. SPSS-15 package program and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) were used for the evaluation of the data. Findings: Following the implemented training program, the pre-test aggression average of the adolescents in the experimental group is significantly higher than the post-test average (p˂0. 05). The post-test problem solving average of the adolescents in the experimental group is significantly higher than the pre-test average (p˂0. 05). The received conflict resolution training lowered the aggression scores of the adolescents in the experimental group significantly, and raised the problem solving skills significantly. As a result, it is put forth that the conflict management training delivered to the adolescents in the orphanages brought positive conflict resolution strategies to the adolescents.
