Özet:

Laboratories are science centers where scientific experiments, analysis and research are carried out. In this study, noise and vibration, which are physical risk factors in laboratories, are discussed. Noise and vibration measurements were made in laboratories 1, 2 and 3 in public institution A, in laboratories 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 within the Research Laboratory in public institution B, in private Z Environmental Laboratory in Yaşar University Design Application and Research Center Heavy Machinery Park and Wood Workshop B 24 in Izmir, and in X Occupational Health and Safety Environmental Analysis Laboratory in X OSGB. Using different noise and vibration measurement devices, different time interval measurements, different and similar machines, devices and setups in each laboratory, indoor noise was measured in some laboratories, daily personal noise exposure, hand arm vibration and whole body vibration were measured in others, noise and vibration graphs were shown and measurement results were compared. It is aimed to determine the risks arising from noise and vibration, to present suggestions for reducing or preventing hazards that may occur, and to create a cultural awareness of employee health and safety. Noise and vibration measurements were taken for the first time from new machines, devices and devices that were never mentioned in other studies. Sound recordings were taken from the chemical analysis pamphlet with an android phone and a svantek 971 noise meter at the same time and average noise values were compared. Noise graphs of the sound recordings taken with the Android phone were shown in 2 and 3 dimensions using the Wavelab Elements sound program, and the graphs of the measurements taken were compared. The laboratories were classified as quiet low risk, moderately noisy medium risk, noisy risky and very noisy very risky laboratories. In the modeling, using the KSSchallschutzchutzrechner acoustic architecture program, sound insulation was made on the walls of the laboratory and in certain areas of the building with laboratory information and a simulation study was created.
