The purpose of this study is to identify optimal innovative financial products for decarbonization investments in the air cargo transportation industry. Within this context, a novel artificial intelligence-based fuzzy decision-making model has been proposed. In the first stage, an artificial intelligence-based fuzzy decision matrix is obtained. Second, the weights of the selected criteria are computed with the help of spherical fuzzy criterion importance through intercriteria correlation (CRITIC). The final stage includes determining the optimal innovative financial products with the help of spherical fuzzy evaluation on the basis of the distance from the average solution (EDAS). The main contribution of this study is that a new decision-making model is created by integrating artificial intelligence methodology and fuzzy multicriteria decision-making models. In this proposed model, the weights of the experts can be computed according to demographic factors, such as working experience and educational level. This situation makes a powerful contribution to reach more effective findings. Another contribution of this study is the presentation of optimal innovative financial products for decarbonization projects in the air cargo industry. With the help of these innovative financial products, more effective actions can be identified to overcome the carbon emission problem. It is determined that safe aviation fuels play the most significant role in identifying optimal innovative financial products for decarbonization investments in the air cargo industry. On the other hand, green bonds are the most effective innovative financial product for these projects in the air cargo industry.
