Özet

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the surgical and prosthetic success of dental implants placed in atrophic maxilla grafted with anterior iliac crest graft. Twenty patients› clinical and radiological records were investigated retrospectively. Clinical parameters were defined as plaque index, peri-implant probing depth, peri-implant marginal bone loss, implant failure, prosthetic failures, and patient›s satisfaction

According to the results of this study, the mean plaque index was recorded as 1 (%87), average peri-implant probing depth was 1.2 mm (0.44)-1.37 mm (0.36), mean marginal bone loss 0.95 mm (0.12). No implant failure and prosthetic complications were observed. As a result, the anterior iliac bone crest can be use as a treatment option to rehabilitate atrophic maxilla.
